Under Night In-Birth II Zohar Release Time is 6:00 p.m. PT on September 15, 2026 for PlayStation and PC. That means the new DLC fighter becomes available at 9:00 p.m. ET, while UK players cross into September 16 because the same launch lands at 2:00 a.m. BST.
Arc System Works has also set a separate Nintendo Switch release for September 23 at 6:00 p.m. PT. Zohar is not a vague “sometime today” drop: the publisher has given an exact Pacific time, so there is no need to keep hammering refresh from the morning.
Under Night In-Birth II Zohar Release Time by region
Under Night In-Birth II Zohar Release Time is easiest to understand from the official 6:00 p.m. PT timing. On the US East Coast that is 9:00 p.m. ET on September 15. In the UK it becomes 2:00 a.m. BST on September 16, and in Japan the same moment is 10:00 a.m. JST on September 16.
The date difference is simply the result of time zones, not a second delay. If you are in Europe and see September 16 on a storefront or social post, that does not contradict the September 15 US date. Arc System Works is using one simultaneous launch point for the PlayStation and Steam versions.
You can check the publisher’s official Zohar announcement for the character release dates. The exact 6:00 p.m. PT time was also published through the official UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH social account.
What platforms get Zohar first?
Under Night In-Birth II Zohar Release Time applies to PlayStation and PC first. Arc System Works lists the September 15 launch for PlayStation and Steam, while Nintendo Switch players have to wait until September 23.
That stagger matters if you play across more than one platform. Buying the character on Steam or PlayStation does not move the Switch release forward, and there is no announced Switch early-access window. The Nintendo version simply has its own date eight days later.
If Switch is your main system, our Zohar Nintendo Switch release guide has the separate timing and what to expect on that version.
Do you need to buy Zohar separately?
Under Night In-Birth II Zohar Release Time tells you when the download becomes available, but there is another important detail before launch: Zohar is a paid standalone character. Arc System Works prices her at $4.99, and the official notice states that she is not included in the UNI2 Season Pass.
That is worth knowing before you assume an existing pass will unlock her automatically. You need the base game, the latest game update and the individual Zohar DLC entitlement. Our Zohar unlock guide walks through that part without making the process sound more complicated than it is.
What Zohar is like when she arrives
Under Night In-Birth II Zohar Release Time is drawing attention because she is more than another roster slot. Arc System Works describes her as a high-speed infighter who coordinates attacks with her Doppelganger, uses giant spikes and can create instantaneous cross-up situations to pressure a defender from awkward angles.
That gives a clear idea of the intended style. She is built around speed, close pressure, mix-ups and making it difficult for an opponent to know which side to guard. The Doppelganger is not just flavour around the character; it is central to how Arc System Works describes her ability to layer attacks and open a defence.
For the systems you can prepare in advance, the Zohar beginner’s guide covers the confirmed game plan and the core UNI2 mechanics that fit it.
What if Zohar is not showing up at launch?
Under Night In-Birth II Zohar Release Time does not guarantee every storefront updates on the exact same second. If the DLC page is not visible immediately after 6:00 p.m. PT, fully close the store, refresh the game’s DLC listing and check that the latest game patch has installed.
Do not buy a random season pass expecting it to solve the problem, because Zohar is explicitly outside that pass. Under Night In-Birth II Zohar Release Time is the point after which licence checks and restarts become relevant. If the store lists her but the game still shows the slot as unavailable, restarting the game after the entitlement installs is the sensible first step.
Under Night In-Birth II Zohar Release Time is therefore 6:00 p.m. PT on September 15 for PlayStation and PC, with Switch following at 6:00 p.m. PT on September 23. Those are the timings to use, rather than older articles that only listed the dates. Under Night In-Birth II Zohar Release Time also gives you a clean cutoff for when a missing store listing becomes worth troubleshooting rather than simply waiting.
