Titan Quest II attributes are Might, Agility, Vigor and Knowledge. You allocate points to these four stats as your character develops, supporting the weapons, armour and skills used by your two Masteries. A character built for direct physical combat can have very different requirements from one relying on spells and summoned helpers.

The main Titan Quest II attributes also feed three secondary damage stats: Fitness affects Strike and Pierce damage, Resolve affects Fire and Cold, and Cunning affects Poison and Lightning. Might contributes to Fitness and Resolve, Agility to Fitness and Cunning, Knowledge to Resolve and Cunning, and Vigor supports all three while increasing maximum health.

All four Titan Quest II attributes explained

Might supports heavy weapons and Heavy or Ornate armour. It contributes to Fitness, which improves Strike and Pierce, and Resolve, which improves Fire and Cold. A physical fighter can therefore benefit from Might while still using selected elemental effects.

Agility helps meet the requirements for faster weapons and Light or Medium armour. Its secondary contributions are Fitness and Cunning, supporting Strike and Pierce as well as Poison and Lightning damage.

Vigor raises maximum health and contributes to Fitness, Cunning and Resolve. It is useful across Mastery pairings, particularly when you’re taking hits or using abilities that reserve some of your available Life.

Knowledge supports magical weapons and Magos or Plated Robes, while contributing to Cunning and Resolve. That makes it relevant for Poison, Lightning, Fire and Cold scaling alongside appropriate skills and equipment.

How Titan Quest II attributes affect equipment choices

Your equipment can have attribute requirements. Before assigning all of your points to a single offensive direction, check what the armour and weapons you’re planning to use actually demand. A strong new item isn’t much help if your character can’t meet its requirements.

This becomes particularly important with hybrid classes. For example, pairing Warfare with Storm gives you access to both physical weapons and elemental abilities. You may want enough points to use your preferred equipment while still supporting the skills that make the second Mastery worthwhile.

Do Titan Quest II attributes determine your class?

No. Your class comes from selecting two of the six Masteries. Attributes are another layer of character development, alongside skill modifiers and equipment. Two characters who both choose Earth and Storm can end up with different stat distributions because they’ve chosen different abilities and gear.

The class combinations guide lists all 15 pairs, while the Masteries overview explains what each specialisation contributes.

How to reset Titan Quest II attributes

You can respec attribute allocations for an in-game Gold cost, just as you can change skills. If you realise you’ve chosen stats for equipment you no longer use, the respec system lets you revise the build rather than beginning the campaign again.

Recheck any equipped item requirements after resetting attributes. A new allocation should support your current gear and skills, not only your desired damage type. Our respec guide covers what you can change and when the Gold cost applies.

What Titan Quest II attributes should a beginner prioritise?

Start with the style of combat you’re actually using. Warfare leans towards weapon attacks, Rogue towards agility and piercing, Earth and Storm towards elemental spells, Forge towards equipment and mechanical support, and Spirit towards life-force spells and summons.

You don’t need to pick an exact endgame stat spread before learning the skills. Use your current gear to guide the early distribution, adjust it as you gain new equipment and remember that Gold respecs are available if your build develops in a different direction.

How Titan Quest II attributes interact with skill modifiers

Attribute points support your overall build, while modifiers change individual abilities. A sweeping weapon strike can become a channeled whirlwind through a modifier, giving a physical combat character a different tool without changing its class.

The skill modifiers guide covers this extra layer of customisation. Combining attributes, equipment and modifiers is how six Masteries result in far more than fifteen fixed character builds.
