The Slormancer classes are Mighty Knight, Fierce Huntress and Mischievous Mage. All three are playable in the action RPG, and each has abilities and upgrades that let you approach the same dungeon-crawling adventure differently.

You aren’t locked into your first choice. Skills, weapons and equipment can be revisited as your collection grows, and the developer even gives a spell-casting Knight and a tank-style Mage as examples of what its flexible builds can become.

The Slormancer classes: all three characters

The three characters share the same adventure, but each has its own abilities and upgrade trees. The Slormancer classes also offer three specialisations each, so the character you select is the starting point for a build, not its final form.

Mighty Knight: spells or steel?

The Knight is the sword-wielding hero, but you don’t have to play him as a conventional tank. Slormite Studios specifically mentions a spell-casting Knight as an option. Look at how his skills interact with ancestral powers and the weapon you have equipped.

Fierce Huntress: choosing a different playstyle

The Huntress has her own abilities, upgrades and specialisations. Changing to her isn’t just swapping character art. Try the opening skills, then see how equipment changes them. As you unlock more options, it’s worth comparing combinations rather than copying a build made for another class.

Mischievous Mage: elemental possibilities

The Mage completes the trio. Slormite Studios describes the possibility of a Mage-Tank, showing how far you can move beyond familiar RPG roles. The Ancestral Skill Tree offers more than 150 elemental options using Fire, Ice, Thunder, Light and Shadow, with effects such as freezing enemies or summoning elementals.

How The Slormancer classes use abilities and skill trees

Each class has active abilities with individual upgrade trees. The developer advertises more than 200 abilities, upgrades and passives overall, so the question is which effects work together. Try an ability you enjoy, examine its upgrades, then find equipment and ancestral powers that complement it.

What are Slorm Reaper weapons?

There are 120 Slorm Reapers to collect, each with a different effect. You can level up and evolve one after finding it. When changing weapons, look at what the effect adds to your skills rather than comparing rarity alone.

Can you change The Slormancer classes later?

Yes, the publisher describes switching among the three characters and reusing previously unlocked skills, Slorm Reapers and found equipment. That flexibility makes it reasonable to try several combinations, then return to favourites instead of starting the entire progression process again each time.

Starting a build with The Slormancer classes

Start with your character’s active skills, then find a Reaper and equipment effects that complement them. Loot ranges from Normal to Legendary items, with more than 200 affixes advertised. If a new item changes how your skills perform, try it before automatically replacing everything based on rarity.

Are there endgame activities for every class?

There’s plenty to tackle as your collection grows. The developer lists procedural adventures, the Slorm Temple, the Great Forge and Warlords in the Netherworld, across seven environments. They’re reasons to revisit your skills and gear after the opening story.

Which of The Slormancer classes should you start with?

Start with the Knight if you want a sword-wielding hero, the Huntress if her separate skills appeal, or the Mage if you enjoy elemental combinations. You can switch later, so there’s no need to get this choice perfect. Our Xbox edition guide covers the dates, UK prices and Play Anywhere.
