The Crew Motorfest Tomb Raider Pack: Release Date, Access and Contents

Motorfest Tomb Raider Pack

The Crew Motorfest Tomb Raider Pack launches on October 7, 2026, as Tomb Raider: Secrets of Ni’ihau. It is a premium expansion with a separate island, a story playlist and five exclusive vehicles. Access is included in the Year 4 Pass, with a standalone purchase also announced for players who mainly want this adventure.

The setting is Ni’ihau, where Lara Croft guides you through the search for her missing friend. This is a driving adventure built around ruins, environmental challenges and exploration. It is useful to separate the campaign purchase from the wider free seasonal update before deciding what to buy.

Two purchase routes are announced for the Motorfest Tomb Raider Pack: the standalone expansion or the Year 4 Pass. Ubisoft lists the pass at $29.99 or €29.99. Those are the published regional prices, not a confirmed UK price or the price of the standalone DLC.

If you already intend to buy the pass, check its included-content list before adding the expansion separately. The Motorfest Tomb Raider Pack is part of that product. Compare the local store listings on the platform where you play, including which account will own the content, rather than relying on a converted dollar price.

For a player interested only in Lara’s adventure, the standalone listing is the relevant comparison. For a regular car collector, the wider pass includes monthly vehicle drops as well. That is a preference decision: access to more future cars is useful only if those cars and the continuing collection appeal to you.

Ni’ihau access and the difference from Kauai

Ni’ihau is the premium island connected to the Motorfest Tomb Raider Pack. Ubisoft says all players can see it on the map, but access to its environment and activities belongs to owners of the expansion or Year 4 Pass. Seeing an island outline therefore does not establish that your account owns its content.

Kauai is the separate free island arriving with Season 11. If your aim is simply to explore the new free offroad area, that does not require this DLC. Check which island you are trying to reach before treating an access restriction as a technical fault or making another purchase.

All eight announced Tomb Raider events

The Motorfest Tomb Raider Pack has eight main events, listed by Ubisoft as follows:

  • The Forbidden Island
  • The Lost Land
  • Sacred Fire
  • Swamped Puzzle
  • Surrounded
  • The Temple of La’Amaomao
  • The Goddess’ Wrath
  • Time to Run

These names establish the campaign lineup, rather than a puzzle walkthrough. Lara provides guidance from afar, while the island presents ruins, clues and dangerous wildlife. Follow the current objective and inspect the immediate surroundings when progress stalls; solving the environmental interaction is a different task from simply driving faster.

Exploration in the Motorfest Tomb Raider Pack also includes 25 animals to photograph, 17 treasure chests and three photoquests. For an organised completion run, track those categories separately. A campaign event, a chest and a photograph are different objectives, so completing one does not tell you that the others in the same area are finished.

Five exclusive vehicles and the playlist reward

Ubisoft names five vehicles in the Motorfest Tomb Raider Pack. The expansion’s collection spans several vehicle types rather than five versions of the same car:

  • Mercedes-AMG 6×6 (2013)
  • Kimberlite HP-18-160 Armina (1968), listed as the playlist reward
  • Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES (2021)
  • Suzuki QuadRacer R450Z (2008)
  • Proto A500 (2016) Special Edition

The reward label is the important distinction for the Kimberlite. Plan to complete the playlist if that vehicle is your goal. Ownership of a content pack and completion of its campaign are separate things; the announcement does not describe the reward vehicle as an immediate grant just for buying the expansion.

There is no Defender in this official five-vehicle list. A Motorfest Tomb Raider Pack purchase should therefore be judged on the named contents, not on an assumed Land Rover crossover. Likewise, this list does not establish an additional bundle of unspecified cosmetics.

What to check before buying

Confirm that the store page is for The Crew Motorfest, that you can access the base game, and that the product is the expansion or Year 4 Pass you actually want. Older Ultimate Year 3 listings describe earlier passes, so the word Ultimate alone is not a substitute for reading what an edition includes.

Before buying the Motorfest Tomb Raider Pack as a new player, the standard five-hour trial offers a way to assess the driving before spending on extras. That general trial should not be taken as a promise of unrestricted premium island access. Check the offer shown in your version for precisely what is playable.

The Motorfest Tomb Raider Pack is aimed at players who want a themed exploration campaign alongside their racing. Choose it for the island adventure and confirmed vehicle collection; choose the broader pass if its additional monthly cars are also part of your plans. That keeps the purchase tied to content you actually want to play.
