Skate Altars of Morg are the Halloween shrines where you exchange Morg’s Tribute for free cosmetics during the Curse of Morg event. The Altars opened October 16, and each offering gives you one reward you haven’t claimed before. You can’t choose the exact prize, but you also won’t waste Tribute on duplicate cosmetics.
If a shrine won’t accept your Tribute, or you’re chasing a particular cosmetic, start with the exchange rules and full prize list below.
Where to find the Skate Altars of Morg
EA says the Skate Altars of Morg have appeared at key spots across San Vansterdam since October 16. You’ll recognise them by their eerie altar setup, with lit candles, ritual markings and props arranged around a shrine. Approach one and look for the Offer Tribute prompt.
More of the event takes place on the Isle of Morg, which opens to everyone on October 20. You don’t need to buy Rip Chips or a skate.Premium Pass to access the island when the ferry resumes.

How to offer Tribute at the Altars
First collect Morg’s Tribute, the event currency represented by teeth. You earn it from Bounties and by completing the rituals at Glyphs of Morg around San Vansterdam. Once you’ve collected enough, return to one of the Skate Altars of Morg and select Offer Tribute.
If nothing happens, check whether you have the amount of Tribute the shrine asks for. EA confirms you need enough currency to make the exchange. The announcement doesn’t supply a universal cost for every offering, so read the live prompt instead of assuming that every prize costs the same amount.
Do the Skate Altars of Morg give duplicate rewards?
No. The Skate Altars of Morg use a reward system that prevents duplicate items. Each successful offering grants something you don’t already own from the Altar’s prize pool. EA lists Tix Packs in three slots, so those repeatable-looking names are part of the published pool. The no-duplicates rule still applies to the collection of individual Altar prizes.
When all of an Altar’s unique items are gone, it becomes inactive for you. EA hasn’t published a way to pick the Glowing Gourd Mask or another prize on demand. Each offering draws from what’s left in the pool.
Skate Altars of Morg rewards: The complete confirmed list
EA’s official list includes a deck, two rails, clothing, a title, Quick Drop items and three Tix Pack entries. These are free rewards bought with event Tribute, separate from the premium cosmetics in the Extravert Shop. The list below preserves EA’s item names. Your reward order is random, and the official announcement does not give a price for each offering.
| Confirmed reward | Item type |
|---|---|
| Ghosted Deck | Deck |
| Brass Spiderweb Rail | Rail |
| Tix Pack | Pack |
| Online Ceramics Bats T-Shirt | Clothing |
| Coffin Sleeper Sticker | Sticker |
| Ancient Coffin QD Item | Quick Drop |
| Online Ceramics Spookytober Ballcap | Hat |
| It’s Morgin’ Time Title | Title |
| Broomstick QD Prop | Quick Drop |
| Tix Pack | Pack |
| Ghosted Rounded Volcano QD Item | Quick Drop |
| Black Spiderweb Rail QD Item | Quick Drop |
| Sir Spooksalot T-Shirt | Clothing |
| Tix Pack | Pack |
| Glowing Gourd Mask | Mask |
The Glowing Gourd Mask is one of the standout items from the Skate Altars of Morg prize pool. Other rewards include the Ghosted Deck, the Broomstick Quick Drop prop and an It’s Morgin’ Time player title. EA says completing all offerings eventually awards every item listed, so a disappointing first roll doesn’t mean you’ve missed your preferred cosmetic.
How to earn Tribute faster for the Altars
Start by finding the glowing Glyphs of Morg around San Vansterdam. There are 100 Glyphs, but simply finding a marking won’t necessarily collect its Tribute. You have to perform the ritual indicated by that Glyph’s symbol. You’ll also earn Tribute by completing event Bounties and related activities.
EA says these Tribute-earning activities stay available once unlocked until November 3. You don’t need to rush through a daily mission before midnight, and you can work towards the Skate Altars of Morg rewards even if you missed the first few event days. The full list of all 100 individual Glyph pins isn’t included in the developer announcement.

When do the Skate Altars of Morg disappear?
The Skate Altars of Morg run alongside the Curse of Morg event, which ends on November 3, 2026. Chapter 2 begins October 20 with the Isle of Morg reopening, another Spot Battle, five additional pages of Bounties and a Block Party.
If there’s something you want, aim to collect it before November 3. EA hasn’t confirmed that the free Altar reward pool stays accessible after the event finishes. Event Bounties and Glyphs remain available through the event, giving you time to earn what’s needed.
What if an Altar isn’t working?
The first thing to check is your Tribute balance. The shrine only offers an exchange when you can cover its current cost. If an Altar has stopped working after multiple successful exchanges, you may have already exhausted the items it can give you.
EA’s October 16 known issues focus on mislabeled Bounties and occasionally incorrect Block Party score credit. They don’t establish a general Altar outage. If the Skate Altars of Morg interaction still doesn’t appear despite having enough Tribute, check the latest game notices before trying to diagnose it as a newly confirmed bug.
