Skate Curse of Morg Event: Glyphs, Altars, Tribute and Rewards

Skate Curse of Morg Event

Skate Curse of Morg Event runs from October 13 until November 3, 2026. The Halloween event covers San Vansterdam in fog and introduces 100 Glyphs, Morg’s Tribute currency and Altars where you can exchange that Tribute for exclusive cosmetics. There’s plenty to play already, even before the Isle of Morg opens.

Chapter 1 began October 16 with Altars, Bounties and Cursed Rewards. Chapter 2 follows on October 20, when the ferry returns and everyone can explore the island for free. Here’s how to get started and what can actually be unlocked.

Skate Curse of Morg Event start and end dates

EA confirmed four key dates for the Skate Curse of Morg Event. The island reopens without a paid pass when Chapter 2 begins.

Date Event changes
October 13 Event begins; Glyphs and Morg’s Tribute appear
October 16 Chapter 1 unlocks Altars, Bounties and rewards
October 20 Chapter 2, free island access, another Spot Battle, five Bounty pages, a Block Party
November 3 Event ends

How to earn Tribute during the Skate Curse of Morg Event

Morg’s Tribute is the currency represented by teeth. Harvest Glyphs of Morg, finish event Bounties and play Halloween activities around San Vansterdam to collect it. Once you have enough, head to an Altar to trade it for rewards. Premium currency isn’t required to start earning Tribute.

The Skate Curse of Morg Event Bounties and Glyph activities remain available after they unlock; EA says there are no daily or weekly challenges that expire. You can catch up if you haven’t played since October 13, though the entire event ends on November 3.

How to find the 100 Glyphs of Morg

There are 100 Glyphs hidden throughout San Vansterdam. Look for glowing pink markings on walls, underpasses, ramps and other surfaces. Finding one is only the first step: read its symbol and complete the ritual required by that marking to harvest its Tribute.

EA shows a handful of example Glyphs in the Skate Curse of Morg Event announcement, but hasn’t published coordinates for all 100. Those screenshots aren’t enough to map every Glyph accurately. Use the symbol shown on each Glyph to work out the required action rather than expecting every location to give Tribute just for touching it.

How to spend Morg’s Tribute at Altars

The Skate Curse of Morg Event Altars arrived on October 16. Find a shrine around the city, approach it with enough Tribute and use Offer Tribute. You’ll receive a random Cursed Reward you haven’t already collected. If you don’t have the amount the Altar requires, the exchange won’t start.

EA confirms the Altars never give duplicate rewards. Each successful exchange takes you closer to completing the collection, although you can’t choose which prize comes next. Once a shrine’s reward collection is empty, the Altar closes to you.

Skate Curse of Morg Event Cursed Rewards: All confirmed items

The Altars offer the following unique cosmetics plus three Tix Pack entries. These items are part of the free Tribute rewards, not a price list for the Extravert Shop. EA hasn’t released a fixed order or individual Tribute cost for each item; the rewards are random and never repeated.

Free Altar reward
Ghosted Deck
Brass Spiderweb Rail
Online Ceramics Bats T-Shirt
Coffin Sleeper Sticker
Ancient Coffin QD Item
Online Ceramics Spookytober Ballcap
It’s Morgin’ Time Title
Broomstick QD Prop
Ghosted Rounded Volcano QD Item
Black Spiderweb Rail QD Item
Sir Spooksalot T-Shirt
Glowing Gourd Mask
Tix Packs (three reward slots)

Among the standout Skate Curse of Morg Event rewards are the Glowing Gourd Mask, Ghosted Deck and Broomstick Quick Drop prop. EA says clearing every unique Altar prize will earn the complete published collection. Separate Halloween clothing in the Extravert Shop costs SVB rather than Morg’s Tribute.

When does the Isle of Morg open for free?

The ferry to the Isle of Grom returns on October 20. During the Skate Curse of Morg Event, the island becomes the Isle of Morg and opens to everyone through November 3. EA confirms you don’t need Rip Chips or a skate.Premium Pass to enter.

Chapter 2 also adds another Spot Battle in San Vansterdam, five more pages of Bounties and a Block Party. You can still gather Tribute through the earlier Glyphs and Bounties while waiting for the island to open.

Skate Curse of Morg Event known bugs and fixes

Two problems appear in EA’s official known issues. Some event Bounties display as Reppin Daks, even though they don’t count towards Crew Rep. In rare cases, Block Party score-total Bounties may also fail to credit every point. EA has acknowledged both issues, but hasn’t published a guaranteed fix you can perform yourself.

If the label is wrong, double-check the Bounty’s event category before treating it as a Crew Rep task. For incomplete Block Party score credit, keep an eye on official updates rather than assuming your score will always register.
