SEVERANCE achievements total 48 in the October 26 Version 1.0 release. Steam lists every unlock condition, from 24 ghost identification awards and ten Prestige ranks to six map challenges, higher difficulties and earning $1 million over your career.
Most unlocks involve completed Ghost AI contracts. The list separates correct identifications, Prestige ranks, map completions, difficulty clears and lifetime income, so you can tackle each group without mixing up the conditions.
All 48 SEVERANCE achievements and requirements
The SEVERANCE achievements fall into five groups. Correct ghost identifications are the foundation because they also count towards map clears, lifetime earnings and other long-term goals.
24 ghost identification achievements
The Identified awards require you to correctly name a specific ghost in a completed Ghost AI investigation. There is one award for each of the 24 types listed below.

The SEVERANCE achievements also include Know Your Enemy, earned after correctly identifying all 24 launch ghost types across completed Ghost AI contracts. Use the current Version 1.0 evidence tablet, because Possession was removed and several evidence combinations changed.
Ten SEVERANCE achievements for Prestige
Beyond the Veil has ten awards, one for each Prestige rank from 1 to 10. They’re long-term progression goals introduced with the full 1.0 release.

The SEVERANCE achievements establish ten distinct Prestige milestones. The numbers are Prestige ranks, not the player level required to activate Prestige. Work through the game’s new progression interface between investigation contracts.
Three difficulty achievements

These SEVERANCE achievements need both survival and the correct ghost in a completed Ghost AI contract. Select the named official difficulty preset. Don’t substitute custom difficulty settings when aiming for a specific Steam achievement.
Six Case Closed map achievements
Each Case Closed award requires five correctly identified Ghost AI investigations at its named map. Visits alone won’t count, and the correct ghost identification must be part of each completed contract.

For the six map SEVERANCE achievements, visit Tarpon Springs, Sunset Studio, Blackwell Farm, Prison, Motel and Hospital. Each has its own Case Closed unlock.

A Perfect Investigation requires all three main objectives, the correct ghost, survival and photographs worth at least $50. Completing those conditions also moves you towards the lifetime photo-reward achievement.
Among the SEVERANCE achievements, Paranormal Millionaire tracks lifetime earnings: spending and Prestige do not reduce progress. Buy the equipment you need instead of hoarding a million in cash. Weekly challenges are accessed through the laptop’s Weekly Challenge app.
How to earn SEVERANCE achievements efficiently
Start with familiar maps on Ghost AI. Aim for a correct identification, finish the objectives and take valuable photos when you can. A single successful contract can advance your ghost, map, earnings and photo goals together.
Work through all six map locations, reaching five correct identifications at each, then attempt the official Professional, Nightmare and Severed difficulties. Track your SEVERANCE achievements by category and build towards Prestige 1 to 10 as you progress. This is more efficient than starting with the highest difficulty.
