Resplendent Spark Missing in Diablo 4? Resplendent Cache Fix

Resplendent Spark Missing in Diablo 4 after opening a Seasonal Reputation Resplendent Cache

Resplendent Spark Missing after opening a Seasonal Reputation Resplendent Cache was a confirmed Diablo 4 Season 15 reward bug. Blizzard fixed the problem in Hotfix 4 for patch 3.2.1 on September 22, 2026, specifically stating that the Resplendent Cache from Seasonal Reputation could fail to grant its Resplendent Spark.

That fix matters because multiple players reported reaching the relevant reputation reward, opening the cache and seeing no increase in their Spark total. The hotfix should correct new cache openings, but Blizzard’s notes do not say that Sparks missed before the fix are automatically restored.

The Hotfix 4 wording is narrow and useful: the fix applies to the Resplendent Cache from Seasonal Reputation not granting a Resplendent Spark. This is not a blanket statement covering every historical Spark issue from every season, boss, cache or reward source.

If Resplendent Spark Missing was the problem you hit from the Season 15 reputation cache, restart Diablo 4 and reconnect before claiming another affected reward. The game should now grant the Spark correctly when a valid Seasonal Reputation Resplendent Cache is opened after the hotfix.

Resplendent Sparks are crafting materials, so check the Materials section rather than looking for a normal inventory item. If your total increases after opening the cache, the reward has been applied even if there is no item sitting in an inventory slot.

What if you opened the Resplendent Cache before Hotfix 4?

If you had a Resplendent Spark Missing before September 22, the fix itself does not promise a retroactive payout. Blizzard confirms that the cache bug is fixed, but the Hotfix 4 notes do not say that previously affected accounts have been granted replacement Sparks.

For an already opened cache, take these steps:

  • Check your Materials total after a fresh login.
  • Confirm the Seasonal Reputation reward is already marked as claimed.
  • Keep a screenshot of the claimed reward and your current Spark total if you have one.
  • Do not claim that the Spark will arrive through the Horadric Post unless Blizzard announces compensation.
  • Report the missing reward with the reputation path, reward rank, platform and approximate time you opened the cache.
  • Keep an eye on later official communication for any account restoration plan.

A Resplendent Spark Missing from an already claimed cache is different from a cache you have not opened yet. Hotfix 4 gives confidence for future claims, but it does not create a published recovery method for old losses.

Where should the Spark appear?

The Spark should be reflected in your crafting materials rather than treated like an ordinary piece of loot that must remain in a backpack slot. Before assuming the fix failed, compare your Resplendent Spark total before and after opening the cache.

That matters because a Resplendent Spark Missing from a guaranteed reputation reward can delay a planned Mythic craft, while ordinary Mythic farming and salvage remain separate ways to build your Spark total.

Is Resplendent Spark Missing still happening after the hotfix?

Blizzard lists the Seasonal Reputation cache issue as fixed. A new Resplendent Spark Missing report after Hotfix 4 therefore needs to be treated as a possible new reproduction, not automatically assumed to be the same pre-hotfix bug.

Restart first, verify the reward source, note your Spark total, then open the cache. If the number still does not change, record the exact Seasonal Reputation track and rank involved. Season 15 has several reward systems, and precise details make it easier to separate this fixed cache problem from another source.

Should you save unopened Resplendent Caches?

There is no longer a confirmed reason to hold a Seasonal Reputation Resplendent Cache solely because of this bug. Resplendent Spark Missing was fixed in Hotfix 4, so unopened valid caches should now award the Spark they are supposed to contain.

Players who already lost the reward should be more cautious about expectations. The bug fix is confirmed; automatic replacement is not. If your cache was opened before the fix and the Spark never appeared, keep the claim details and watch for a separate Blizzard response rather than assuming Hotfix 4 silently restored it.

For current Season 15 play, Resplendent Spark Missing should now be resolved for the affected Seasonal Reputation cache. Check your Materials total, make sure you have restarted after the hotfix, and treat any fresh failure as a new post-fix report.
