The PS Plus July 2026 games have expanded again, with four more titles now available through the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Game Catalog.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Firefighting Simulator: Ignite headline the July 21 additions for Extra subscribers. Premium members can also access two older PlayStation titles, Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy and Indigo Prophecy.

Sony is releasing this month’s Game Catalog titles across several different dates in selected regions rather than adding the entire lineup simultaneously. Rise of the Ronin arrived earlier in July, while another four games are scheduled to become available on July 28.

Here is the complete PS Plus July 2026 games schedule, including the subscription tier required for each title.

Four new PS Plus July 2026 games became available globally on July 21.

Firefighting Simulator: IgnitePS5Extra or Premium
Psi-Ops: The Mindgate ConspiracyPS4 and PS5Premium

PlayStation Plus Extra members can access the two modern PS5 releases. The two classic games are restricted to PlayStation Plus Premium because they form part of the Classics Catalog.

Players must maintain an active subscription at the correct tier to continue accessing the games. Unlike the monthly Essential titles, Game Catalog releases are not permanently attached to an account after they are downloaded.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Joins PS Plus

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is the biggest addition in the latest PS Plus July 2026 games drop.

The first-person open-world adventure places players in the role of a Na’vi who was taken and trained by the RDA. After returning to Pandora years later, the character must reconnect with their heritage and help protect the Western Frontier.

Players can explore Pandora on foot and from the air, use traditional Na’vi weapons and fight against heavily armed RDA forces. The game also supports two-player online co-op, allowing much of the campaign to be completed with another player.

Only the native PS5 version is included through PlayStation Plus. There is no PS4 release of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

The base game is part of the catalog, so expansions and additional paid content may still need to be purchased separately.

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite Is Also Available

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite is the second PS5 title added to the PS Plus July 2026 games lineup on July 21.

The simulation game puts players in control of a firefighter responding to emergencies across an American city. Missions involve entering burning buildings, rescuing trapped civilians, locating the source of fires and using specialist equipment to bring each situation under control.

Players can complete missions with computer-controlled crew members or join up to three other players through online co-op.

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite uses real-time fire, heat and smoke systems, which means conditions can change while a mission is underway. Players must select the right tools and work with their crew instead of simply spraying water at every visible flame.

Its inclusion gives the July catalog something noticeably different from the open-world action and role-playing games dominating the rest of the month.

Psi-Ops Joins the PlayStation Plus Classics Catalog

Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy has joined the Premium section of the PS Plus July 2026 games lineup.

Originally released in 2004, Psi-Ops is a third-person action game built around psychic abilities. Players can use powers such as telekinesis, mind control, remote viewing and pyrokinesis alongside conventional weapons.

The ability to manipulate enemies and objects is central to its combat. Players can throw opponents through the environment, move heavy objects, take control of enemy soldiers and create unusual solutions to encounters.

Psi-Ops is available through the Classics Catalog on both PS4 and PS5. It is not included with the Extra tier.

Indigo Prophecy Returns Through PS Plus Premium

Indigo Prophecy, also known as Fahrenheit in some regions, is the second classic included in the July 21 drop.

The narrative adventure follows several playable characters connected to a mysterious murder in New York City. Players make choices, investigate scenes and manage relationships while attempting to understand the supernatural forces behind the case.

Decisions can change later scenes and affect how characters respond, making it an early example of the choice-driven format later associated with developer Quantic Dream.

The PlayStation Plus version is available on PS4 and can be played on PS5 through backward compatibility. Sony previously corrected information suggesting that a separate native PS5 version would be released.

Which PS Plus Games Are Coming on July 28?

The final wave of PS Plus July 2026 games will add four more titles on July 28.

Dying Light is an open-world survival game that combines first-person combat with parkour. Players explore a city overrun by infected enemies, with more dangerous creatures emerging after dark.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind is a colourful side-scrolling brawler inspired by the original television series. It supports local and online multiplayer and features several gameplay styles beyond traditional beat ’em up stages.

Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector is a narrative RPG set aboard a failing spacecraft. Players build a crew, accept contracts and make decisions using tabletop-inspired dice systems.

Snow Bros. Wonderland reimagines the classic Snow Bros. formula with three-dimensional stages and support for up to four local players.

Together, these releases take the complete July Game Catalog lineup to nine games across Extra and Premium.

Are the PS Plus July 2026 Games Free?

The PS Plus July 2026 games are included as part of an active Extra or Premium membership, but they are not free games in the permanent ownership sense.

Subscribers can download and play eligible Game Catalog titles without buying each one separately. However, access can be lost when:

  • The player cancels or downgrades their subscription
  • The game leaves the PlayStation Plus catalog
  • The account no longer meets the required membership tier
  • Regional availability changes

Saved data normally remains on the console or in cloud storage, allowing players to continue if they later resubscribe or purchase the game.

This works differently from PlayStation Plus Essential monthly games, which remain attached to an account after being claimed and can be played again whenever the user has an active subscription.

Which July PS Plus Game Should You Play First?

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is likely to be the first choice for players looking for a large modern adventure. Its open world, aerial exploration and optional co-op provide considerably more scope than most of the other July 21 releases.

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite is a stronger option for groups looking for structured co-op missions rather than another lengthy open-world game.

Premium subscribers should not overlook Psi-Ops. Its psychic combat systems remain unusual, even compared with many newer action games, and its inclusion makes it one of the more interesting classic additions of the month.

With two modern PS5 games, two returning classics and another four releases still scheduled for July 28, the PS Plus July 2026 games lineup is continuing to grow throughout the month.
