Pokemon TCG Live known issues in November 2026 include card interactions, game freezes and interface problems. Version 1.44.0 is scheduled for November 3 with fixes for Night Stretcher, hidden cards revealing information, Prize card selection and several Deck Editor errors. Those are upcoming fixes as of November 2, not changes already confirmed live.
Older reports also cover disconnects, loading glitches, card logic and account purchases. The Pokemon TCG Live known issues tracker was last updated on October 1; it remains a useful record, but it shouldn’t be mistaken for a list of problems freshly reproduced in November. We’ll separate the confirmed 1.44.0 fix list from those earlier reports.
Pokemon TCG Live known issues in November 2026
The October 1 tracker for Pokemon TCG Live known issues recorded increased match freezes and disconnections. It also described cards that couldn’t be moved after reconnecting, and card art that appeared flipped, magenta or incorrectly textured when assets failed to load. Those reports provide context, not confirmation that each issue is still occurring on the current build.
Pokémon notes that restarting the application can sometimes correct the texture problem. That is a useful distinction: a visual asset failure may respond to a restart, while a card-logic issue or server-side match problem usually needs a game update rather than repeated local reinstalls. Pokemon TCG Live known issues should therefore be matched to the type of failure before troubleshooting.

Pokemon TCG Live known issues scheduled for November 1.44.0
Pokémon schedules version 1.44.0 for Tuesday, November 3, with maintenance starting at 16:00 GMT and an estimated four-hour outage. The patch notes say these bugs are being fixed, but as of November 2 the new client has not been deployed. Confirm the update is installed before deciding whether a particular issue has returned.
- Hidden information: shuffled or redrawn hidden cards could incorrectly become visible to the opponent after certain effects.
- Prize cards: some card effects could not select Prize cards as intended.
- Learning Lab and Big Card View: cards sometimes could not be dragged, while a large card could overlap the selection menu.
- Nitro {R} Energy (CRI #086): its image could appear too large when moved from the discard pile to the hand.
- Night Stretcher (SFA #061): the client could become unresponsive when its selection timer expired without a choice.
- Espathra (SSP #095): Mystical Eyes did not correctly devolve an evolved Pokémon on the opponent’s Bench.
- Grafaiai (SSP #121): Mischievous Painting did not permit a zero-Energy selection.
- Team Rocket’s Nidorina (DRI #115): Dark Awakening did not permit selecting zero Pokémon.
Outside battles, Pokemon TCG Live known issues scheduled for correction include slow expansion sorting in the Deck Editor, empty friend invitations, a blank Build & Battle editor after clearing an empty search and a Ranked Ladder reward icon incorrectly displaying an already claimed reward as unclaimed. A previously reported missing profile emblem is a separate issue and isn’t explicitly listed among these fixes.
The upcoming changes are documented in our version 1.44.0 patch notes. See the November 3 maintenance times for when the client is expected to be unavailable.
Build and Battle issues and the 1.43.0 transition
In October, players could get an insufficient-funds message in Build & Battle despite having enough Event Tokens. Pokémon listed that bug among the fixes in version 1.43.0, which released on October 6. It isn’t one of the new fixes scheduled for November.
Version 1.43.0 also addressed the game becoming unresponsive after cancelling Build & Battle matchmaking. If either problem returns, record which version you’re on and what happened before the error. Our October patch notes cover the original fixes. Do not use an old tracker snapshot to assume a newly fixed bug is still expected behaviour.
Freezing and disconnects
Match freezes and reconnection failures were among the more serious Pokemon TCG Live known issues listed in October. The tracker described players reconnecting successfully but still being unable to move cards. That’s different from a complete network outage, and it isn’t explicitly included in the 1.44.0 patch list.
For a one-off disconnect, check the network and reopen the client if necessary. For repeated match freezes that match the acknowledged issue, avoid destructive troubleshooting such as deleting account data or assuming the deck itself is corrupted. Pokémon has already identified the wider stability problem as something being tracked. That makes the official Pokemon TCG Live known issues list more useful than assuming every freeze comes from the player’s device.
Card-logic bugs reported in October
The October Pokemon TCG Live known issues tracker also reported several card-rule errors. Effects involving extra Prize cards could affect the Prize-card counter incorrectly. Glimmora ex’s Dust Field could fail in specific Ability-suppression situations, while Jumpluff’s Fluffy Barrage could bypass attack suppression under certain attachments. None of these interactions is named in the 1.44.0 fix list.
The tracker also lists an ordering problem involving extra turns from effects such as Origin Forme Dialga VSTAR’s Star Chronos when both Active Pokémon are Knocked Out. Restricted Special Energy can be discarded too early when attached through an attack or Ability that does not satisfy its restriction. These are rule-resolution bugs, so reinstalling the client is unlikely to change the underlying interaction.
Battle Log and visual problems
Not every item in Pokemon TCG Live known issues changes the result of a match. Some Battle Log entries can show incorrect information, including the recorded damage source for certain Abilities. Test Deck AI may also use cards outside the current legal format while testing a Standard deck.
Visual loading failures are another separate category. If a card appears with a magenta texture, flipped artwork or another obvious asset problem, restart the application and check the connection first. That is specifically the kind of issue where Pokémon says a restart can sometimes restore the correct display.
Account, purchase and profile issues
Pokémon’s October Pokemon TCG Live known issues tracker also recorded duplicate accounts after migrations or code redemptions, purchase errors involving Trainer Points and Trade Credits, and a Ranked Ladder emblem disappearing from some profiles. The November patch addresses a different Ranked Ladder problem: an already claimed reward appearing unclaimed.
These problems are annoying, but they are different from a failed card effect in a live match. If currency or purchases are involved, avoid repeatedly buying the same item while the client is returning an error. Confirm whether the balance changed, restart the client, and use official support if the transaction state remains inconsistent.
What 1.43.0 fixed in October
The October 6 update corrected several earlier Pokemon TCG Live known issues, including Build & Battle errors, simultaneous friend challenges, named card interactions, and a Friends List bug affecting removed friends. Those belong to version 1.43.0, rather than the scheduled 1.44.0 rollout.
Keep the older tracker as a reference for symptoms, but check Pokémon’s latest announcements before calling any particular October report unresolved today. The November 1.44.0 notes are specific about the bugs they’re intended to fix.
What to do when you hit a current bug
When a problem matches Pokemon TCG Live known issues, note the client version, card names, match state and what happened immediately before the failure. A screenshot or Battle Log can help when the client still provides one. For display problems, restart first. For repeatable card logic, account or currency issues, report the behaviour through Pokémon’s official support or forum channels.
If something goes wrong, first check whether it’s in Pokémon’s tracker or the new patch notes. Don’t spend currency twice, redeem a code repeatedly or rebuild a working deck because of one faulty match. Keep this Pokemon TCG Live known issues guide handy through the November update and report repeat problems with the client version and steps that caused them.
