Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration Card List and Rarities

Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration Card List is bigger than the 128-card main numbering suggests. The anniversary expansion launched worldwide on September 16, 2026 with a 128-card base set, a large group of cards beyond the printed set number, 30 Pikachu rare cards, a separate 30-card Classic Collection and foil Basic Energy.

Pokémon’s official set page describes the expansion as containing more than 150 cards, 30 Pikachu rares, 30 Classic Collection cards, more than 20 Illustration Rare and Special Illustration Rare cards, and two Futuristic rares. This Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration Card List separates those pieces so collectors do not confuse the main numbering with the full anniversary checklist.

Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration Card List structure

Part of the release	Confirmed structure
Main numbered set	128 cards before cards above the set number
Pikachu rare subset	30 different Pikachu, one guaranteed in every booster pack
Classic Collection	30 iconic reprints from past eras
Illustration and Special Illustration rares	More than 20 combined
Futuristic rare	Two announced cards by YOSHIROTTEN
Basic Energy	Foil Basic Energy included in booster packs

Every regular booster pack contains five foil cards and one foil Basic Energy card. One of those five cards is guaranteed to be one of the 30 Pikachu rare cards. That guarantee creates a second checklist inside the wider Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration Card List.

Where the 30 Pikachu cards sit in the set

The English Pikachu rare run occupies cards 023/128 through 052/128 and is also numbered 01/30 through 30/30 as its own anniversary subset. Pikachu ex cards are separate Double Rare cards and should not be counted as part of the 30-card Pikachu rare run.

Use our 30 Pikachu checklist to mark the full consecutive run. Because every pack guarantees one Pikachu rare, duplicates and trading become a major part of completing that mini-set.

What is the Classic Collection?

The Classic Collection is a 30-card group of reprints chosen from the history of the Pokémon TCG. It ranges from Base Set Pikachu and Charizard through cards such as Crystal Lugia, Shining Celebi, Rayquaza-EX, Mew VMAX, Arceus VSTAR and the Paldea Evolved Magikarp Illustration Rare.

The Classic Collection has its own identity and is not tournament legal under the current 30th Celebration legality note. Our Classic Collection card list has all 30 names and their original sets.

New 30th Celebration rarities

Two rarities make the anniversary release especially easy to recognise. Pikachu Rare is dedicated to the 30-card Pikachu run, while Futuristic Rare appears on two high-end cards designed by YOSHIROTTEN. The main expansion also uses familiar Double Rare, Illustration Rare and Special Illustration Rare tiers.

How to collect the set

30th Celebration is a special expansion, so regular booster packs are primarily distributed through collection products rather than a normal booster-box release. The product line includes Elite Trainer Boxes, a Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box, ex boxes, a Poster Collection, Mini Tins, Booster Bundles, Battle Decks and larger November products.

Our product and release-date guide shows how many packs each announced product contains. If you are comparing only the two ETBs, use the ETB comparison instead.

Pokémon’s official 30th Celebration expansion page is the first-party reference for the headline set structure. This Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration Card List will remain the cluster hub for individual checklists and product guides.

For players using this page as a quick reference, Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration Card List keeps the confirmed requirements and deadlines together so older event or product details are less likely to cause confusion.

The most useful way to use Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration Card List is to check the dated details first, because availability can change even when the underlying game or collecting mechanic remains the same.

For that reason, Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration Card List separates confirmed information from details that still need live verification instead of filling gaps with estimates.

Keeping Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration Card List linked to the surrounding cluster also makes it easier to move from the broad overview to the exact acquisition, reward or checklist question you are trying to solve.
