- Play until Mystery Gift is available, approximately one hour into the adventure, after unlocking Rewards in Mable’s Research.
- Connect your console to the internet using a profile linked to a Nintendo Account.
- Open the main menu with X, then select Link Play followed by Mystery Gift.

The code supplied with the Pokémon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension bundle works once, so you can’t use it again on another save. You need an internet connection and a linked Nintendo Account, but not Nintendo Switch Online. When can you play the Mega Dimension story?
Although the Pokémon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension bundle includes the DLC from the start, its extra story opens after you complete the main Pokémon Legends: Z-A story. The Holo-X and Holo-Y outfits can be used earlier once Outfit & Looks unlocks.
The Holo-X and Holo-Y apparel sets have a different requirement. They become usable earlier once the Outfit & Looks option unlocks. This means you can enjoy part of the DLC before finishing Z-A, even though the additional storyline comes later.
