Pokémon GO Silver Bottle Cap: Deluxe Price, Hyper Training Rules and Expiry

Pokémon GO Into the Wild 2026

Pokémon GO Silver Bottle Cap is a Deluxe GO Pass reward that allows one stat to be improved through Hyper Training. Getting the item isn’t the same as instantly improving a Pokémon, and not every Pokémon is eligible.

Before buying Deluxe, check the Good Buddy requirement, expiry dates and Pokémon HOME restriction. Claiming the item, activating it and finishing its training tasks have separate deadlines.

A Pokémon GO Silver Bottle Cap is included among the rewards of the $14.99 Into the Wild GO Pass Deluxe. The event begins November 9, and the Deluxe upgrade is optional. You must earn and claim the relevant pass reward; buying the upgrade alone should not be confused with using Hyper Training.

The price is quoted in US dollars in the announcement. Your local store can show a different price, so use the amount displayed in-game before purchasing.

Pokémon GO Silver Bottle Cap: What Hyper Training improves

The Silver Bottle Cap lets you improve one selected stat through Hyper Training. Unlike an item that changes every stat at once, this is a targeted upgrade, so choose a Pokémon and the stat you want carefully.

The Pokémon must be at least Good Buddy before it can use the Silver Bottle Cap. Shadow Pokémon aren’t eligible, and you cannot apply Hyper Training to a stat that’s already at its maximum.

Pokémon GO Silver Bottle Cap: When the item expires

The Silver Bottle Cap must be activated by November 22 at 11:59 PM local time. That is a separate deadline from the GO Pass’s November 17 reward-claim cutoff.

After activation, you have 365 days to finish the required Hyper Training tasks. The long training window doesn’t remove the earlier deadline for activating the item.

Pokémon GO Silver Bottle Cap: Pokémon HOME restrictions and deciding which Pokémon to train

A Pokémon that has been Hyper Trained cannot be transferred to Pokémon HOME. That’s a significant permanent decision if you keep a collection across games. Don’t spend the cap on a Pokémon you intend to move to HOME.

Prioritise a Pokémon you expect to use in Pokémon GO for a long time, with a stat below its maximum and a clear reason to improve it. Check its eligibility, Buddy status and your plans for HOME before starting the tasks.

Stat Training task theme
Attack Battle alongside your chosen Pokémon
Defense Build your Buddy bond by playing together, exploring and catching Pokémon
HP Explore alongside the Pokémon as your buddy, including PokéStop spins and earning Buddy Candy

The Silver Bottle Cap is a one-use item earned by completing GO Pass Deluxe, which costs US$14.99 or the equivalent local tier. The Deluxe + 10 Ranks option costs US$19.99. You must choose Attack, Defense or HP, and finish the matching training tasks; the stat does not instantly increase on purchase.

Two separate deadlines: claim the GO Pass reward by November 17 at 11:59 PM local time, then use the cap by November 22 at 11:59 PM local time. After using it, you have 365 days to finish training. A Good Buddy or higher is required; Shadow Pokémon and Pokémon with already-maxed stats cannot undergo this Hyper Training, and Hyper Trained Pokémon cannot be transferred to Pokémon HOME.

Pokémon GO Silver Bottle Cap: preparing for the event

Check which stat actually needs improving before spending the cap. Attack, Defense and HP have different tasks, and a stat that’s already at its maximum can’t be trained further. Pick a Pokémon you plan to keep in GO, because Hyper Trained Pokémon can’t be sent to HOME.
