Pokémon GO Crowned Shield Zamazenta November 2026: Raid Return and Counters

Pokémon GO Into the Wild 2026

Pokémon GO Crowned Shield Zamazenta Raids return in November, with a Raid Hour on November 10 from 6–7 PM local time. Successful raids award Crowned Shield Energy.

Zamazenta’s Fighting/Steel typing leaves it weak to Fire, Ground and Fighting. The Global Challenge affects Behemoth Bash’s Adventure Effect; it doesn’t announce a direct damage increase in battle.

Pokémon GO Crowned Shield Zamazenta Raids: Crowned Shield raid return

Crowned Shield Zamazenta returns to raids as part of Into the Wild 2026, which runs November 9 to 13. It is part of the raid lineup and should not be confused with November’s Dynamax battles.

Check the raid boss preview for the Crowned Shield form when looking for a group. The announcement confirms its return but does not establish an exact day-by-day raid timetable in the supplied details.

Pokémon GO Crowned Shield Zamazenta Raids: Best weakness types for raids

Crowned Shield Zamazenta is Fighting/Steel, meaning Fighting-, Fire- and Ground-type attacks are super effective. Bring strong counters in those types rather than copying the team used against Crowned Sword Zacian.

The ideal team depends on levels, moves and weather. A high-level attacker with an appropriate moveset is generally more useful than a weak counter chosen purely for its name.

Pokémon GO Crowned Shield Zamazenta Raids: Behemoth Bash and the Global Challenge

Into the Wild includes a Global Challenge that improves Behemoth Bash once the community completes its targets. That gives Crowned Shield owners a reason to follow challenge progress.

The improvement is a Global Challenge unlock, not an individual reward automatically earned from defeating a single Zamazenta raid.

Pokémon GO Crowned Shield Zamazenta Raids: Remote raiding and other bosses

The Remote Raid limit increases to 30, followed by unlimited Remote Raids on November 14–15. If you’re planning a large raiding session, separate these limit changes from the exact dates individual bosses appear.

This event also features Max Battle debuts, but Max Battle eligibility is unrelated to an ordinary Zamazenta raid team. The existing Zamazenta guide remains the place for broader form and moveset information.

Pokémon GO Crowned Shield Zamazenta Raids: confirmed zamazenta raid hour and crowned shield energy

Niantic confirms Crowned Shield Zamazenta Raid Hour on Tuesday, November 10, from 6–7 PM local time. Defeating it in a five-star raid awards Crowned Shield Energy. A Shiny encounter is possible and successful five-star raid catches may have the new Into the Wild Special Background.

Completing the Global Challenge strengthens the Adventure Effect of Behemoth Bash. That is not an announced direct damage buff to the move in combat; Niantic has not published a numerical increase. Crowned Sword Zacian is the other five-star raid boss, with its own Raid Hour on November 9.

Pokémon GO Crowned Shield Zamazenta Raids: preparing for the event

Choose a raid team for Zamazenta’s actual weaknesses rather than assuming Zacian’s ideal attackers will do the same job. If you’re farming energy, plan how many raids you can reasonably finish; shiny encounters and event backgrounds are chances, not guaranteed drops.
