Pokémon GO Minior Showers return with the Leonids on 14 November at 5 p.m., running until 19 November at 11:59 p.m. local time. Minior will appear in the wild in Meteor Form, with more frequent encounters each evening and extra Stardust when you catch one.
October’s Orionids event is over, but five more showers are scheduled through August 2027. Each introduces another Minior Core colour, making these dates useful if you’re trying to collect them all. The best November hunting window is 5 to 9 p.m. each evening.
Pokémon GO Minior Showers Leonids November 2026 times

The Leonids run from Saturday, 14 November at 5 p.m. to Thursday, 19 November at 11:59 p.m. These are local times, so in the UK the event also begins at 5 p.m.
From 5 to 9 p.m. each evening, you’ll see shooting stars in-game and have a better chance of finding wild Minior. You can still play the broader event outside those four hours; the last day’s actual closing time is 11:59 p.m.
All six Pokémon GO Minior Showers dates
The Pokémon GO Minior Showers calendar contains six events, with the remaining showers running through summer 2027. October’s Orionids has finished; these are the full dates:
| Shower | Dates, local time |
|---|---|
| Orionids | 19 October 5 p.m. to 24 October 2026 11:59 p.m. (ended) |
| Leonids | 14 November 5 p.m. to 19 November 2026 11:59 p.m. |
| Geminids | 11 December 5 p.m. to 16 December 2026 11:59 p.m. |
| Eta Aquariids | 3 May 5 p.m. to 8 May 2027 11:59 p.m. |
| Southern Delta Aquariids | 28 July 5 p.m. to 2 August 2027 11:59 p.m. |
| Perseids | 10 August 5 p.m. to 15 August 2027 11:59 p.m. |
Each shower begins at 5 p.m. on its opening date and ends at 11:59 p.m. on its final day. The daily boosted sky and spawns run between 5 and 9 p.m. while that shower is active.
How to find Minior and get more Stardust
During Pokémon GO Minior Showers, look for Minior as a wild Meteor Form encounter. You don’t need a Raid Pass or a paid ticket for those wild encounters. Catching Minior also awards increased Stardust during the shower.
The announced bonus is increased Stardust from catching Minior. The official event details don’t give an exact amount per catch. Check the catch reward in-game and make the most of the 5 to 9 p.m. boosted encounters.
Our Minior Shower Timed Research guide covers the research from October’s Orionids event. Its claim deadline has passed, and those tasks are not part of the announced Leonids rewards.
Pokémon GO Minior Showers: all seven Core colours
Minior comes in Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet Core forms. The rocky Meteor Form hides the core’s colour when Minior first appears in the wild, and new colours debut across the series rather than all at once.

The December Geminids shower will debut one Core colour in the Northern Hemisphere and a different one in the Southern Hemisphere. The official schedule doesn’t assign names to those two colours yet, so the north-versus-south choice cannot be made from the announcement alone.
The Pokémon GO Minior Showers roll out Core colours over several events. November’s Leonids is one opportunity, not a chance to collect every colour at once. December is the event with the announced hemisphere split.
Meteor Form and Core Form battle differences
Minior begins battle in Meteor Form, with higher Defense but lower Attack. Once its HP falls below 50%, the rocky shell breaks and it switches to Core Form, trading Defense for stronger Attack.
At launch, form changes work against Team GO Rocket, team leaders and in the GO Battle League. Niantic has not announced equivalent form changes in raids or regular Gym battles. Minior also cannot compete in the 2027 Latin America International Championships.
Can Minior be Shiny in November?
A Shiny Minior debut isn’t listed in the Pokémon GO meteor shower announcement. The confirmed rewards are wild Minior encounters, increased Stardust and the ongoing rollout of Core colours. The different normal Core colours should not be mistaken for Shiny forms.
The Leonids window ends on 19 November. The next major Pokémon GO event on our calendar is Pawniard Community Day on November 21, followed by December’s Geminids shower.
For the November Pokémon GO Minior Showers, aim to play between 5 and 9 p.m., catch as many Minior as you can and save any new Core colours you find. The December and 2027 showers give collectors more dates to work towards the full set.
