Pokémon GO Mexico City Hawlucha Stamp Rally has eight designated stops around Mexico City, and collecting every stamp earns a Hawlucha encounter with a Mexico City Location Background. It began in November 2026 and has no planned end date. There’s no GO Wild Area event-ticket requirement, but you must visit the participating places in person to collect the stamps.
The ticketed Wild Area weekend also has a stamp rally, but that one has seven different stops and an 8 PM deadline. This is the ongoing eight-stop Hawlucha collection. If you’re visiting both, don’t mix up the two lists.
All eight Pokémon GO Mexico City Hawlucha Stamp Rally locations

Pokémon GO has named these eight landmarks for the Pokémon GO Mexico City Hawlucha Stamp Rally. They’re a checklist, not a route; you can collect the stamps in any order. Use the in-game Stamp Rally map to find the participating PokéStops.
| Stamp | Official landmark | Area or identifying detail |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Palacio de Bellas Artes | The landmark cultural palace in central Mexico City |
| 2 | Palacio Nacional | The National Palace in the historic centre |
| 3 | Columna “El Paraguas” | The monumental umbrella-shaped fountain at the anthropology museum |
| 4 | Diana Cazadora | The Huntress Diana fountain on Paseo de la Reforma |
| 5 | Fuente de los Coyotes Coyoacán | The Coyote Fountain in Coyoacán |
| 6 | Aztlán 360 | The Aztlán landmark in Chapultepec |
| 7 | Reloj y Fuente de Parque Hundido | The clock and fountain in Parque Hundido |
| 8 | Museo Soumaya | The distinctive art museum in the Nuevo Polanco area |
These landmarks are spread across Mexico City, from the historic centre to Coyoacán and beyond. Allow time to get between them. You’ll need to spin the designated PokéStop at each location, not just walk up to the landmark.
How to complete the Pokémon GO Mexico City Hawlucha Stamp Rally
Once you’re within the Mexico City gameplay area, approach one of the designated Stamp Rally PokéStops. The game activates the rally and gives you a stamp sheet. You’ll see a Stamp Rally button on the map, and participating PokéStops are highlighted on a dedicated in-game map. After you’ve started, an orange stamp icon appears above the relevant stops.
Spin the Photo Disc at a participating stop and press the stamp sheet to record your visit. Holding down longer makes the ink darker. The stamp records the PokéStop’s name and date. Once it’s placed, you can’t stamp that spot again.
Continue until you’ve recorded all eight distinct locations. You don’t have to start at Palacio de Bellas Artes or finish at Museo Soumaya. The Pokémon GO Mexico City Hawlucha Stamp Rally can be completed in whichever order best fits your visit, and the game uses the eight collected stamps to determine completion.
What do you get for the eight stamps?
Completing the Pokémon GO Mexico City Hawlucha Stamp Rally gives you a Hawlucha encounter with a Mexico City Location Background. The background is a specific part of the confirmed reward, making this worth distinguishing from ordinary wild Hawlucha encounters elsewhere in the city. It’s a Pokémon encounter, not eight guaranteed Hawlucha or a promise of additional location-themed Pokémon at every individual stop.
The reward Hawlucha can be Shiny, but the Shiny version isn’t guaranteed. Pokémon GO hasn’t announced a special Shiny rate. Completing the Pokémon GO Mexico City Hawlucha Stamp Rally earns a Hawlucha encounter with a Mexico City Location Background.

Does the Pokémon GO Mexico City Hawlucha Stamp Rally need a ticket?
No. Pokémon GO says the ongoing rally is open to all Trainers visiting Mexico City. It went live at 4 PM PST on 2 November 2026, equivalent to midnight GMT on 3 November. The company says there is no planned end date, so it isn’t restricted to the November 6 to 8 Wild Area live-event period.
That doesn’t mean you can collect stamps remotely. You still need to approach the actual participating PokéStops in Mexico City and spin their Photo Discs. The Global Wild Area event on 14 and 15 November also doesn’t replace travelling to the eight city stops. If you’re making plans well after November, consult the game’s map in case the publisher announces changes to the ongoing activity.
Permanent eight-stop rally versus the seven-stop Wild Area ticket rally
| Detail | Ongoing Hawlucha rally | Ticketed Wild Area event rally |
|---|---|---|
| Stops | Eight city landmarks listed above | Seven different event PokéStops |
| Ticket | Not needed | Needed for the event-day activity |
| When | Ongoing, no planned end date | 6 to 8 November, on your original ticket date |
| Deadline | No event-day 8 PM limit announced | 8 PM local time on your ticket day |
| Completion encounter | Hawlucha with Mexico City Location Background | Separate event-themed rewards |
Our seven-stop Mexico City event guide covers the ticket-only collection, which ends at 8 PM local time on your original ticket day. The Pokémon GO Mexico City Hawlucha Stamp Rally has no announced event-day deadline and uses a different set of stops.
Practical tips before visiting the stamp locations
Before heading out, check the in-game map for the correct PokéStops, charge your phone and plan around the areas you’re already visiting. Some landmarks are inside or near busy visitor attractions, so follow local access rules. The game doesn’t require a particular route.
If you’re also exploring the live Wild Area events, the Pokémon GO Mexico City Hawlucha Stamp Rally is a different objective, so track the sheets separately. For the equivalent ongoing activity in Japan, see our Sendai Lapras eight-stop stamp rally. The two cities have different Pokémon rewards, and neither can be completed simply by collecting stamps in the other location.
