Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Pokémon GO with a special collection of Pokémon GO Fest 2026 Field Research Tasks and Rewards.

Which GO Fest 2026 Field Research Tasks Should You Keep?

The best tasks will depend on what you need, but several rewards are likely to be more useful than others.

The Win a raid task is worth keeping for Mega Mewtwo Y Energy, while the costume starter and team hat Pikachu tasks offer event-exclusive encounters. Players hunting stronger or rarer Pokémon may also want to focus on tasks rewarding Lucario, Larvitar, Ralts, Mawile, Klink and Galarian Stunfisk.

Because event Field Research remains in your collection after GO Fest ends, you do not need to complete every task before 7pm. You only need to collect the task from a PokéStop while it is available.

Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global also includes the Genetic Mastery and A Thunderous Discovery research stories, rotating habitat Pokémon, special raids and opportunities to catch regional Pokémon such as Bouffalant and Tropius.

Remember to leave space in your Field Research list before spinning PokéStops, particularly when a new habitat begins, so you have the best chance of collecting the tasks and encounters you want.
