Pokémon GO Daily Discoveries are one of the biggest changes arriving with the Pokémon GO Forever Forward season. Running from June 2, 2026, until September 8, 2026, Daily Discoveries replace some existing weekly bonuses and introduce dedicated themed days with unique rewards and gameplay benefits.

If you are wondering what Pokémon GO Daily Discoveries are, how they work, and which days are worth taking advantage of, here is everything you need to know.

Pokémon Go Daily Discoveries are special bonuses that activate on specific days of the week throughout the Pokémon GO Forever Forward season.

Each themed day focuses on a different gameplay feature, giving Trainers additional rewards for activities such as Routes, Max Battles, PokéStop Showcases, and more.

According to Niantic, these bonuses may evolve throughout the season as they continue experimenting with ways to improve the feature.

Pokémon Go Daily Discoveries – Scenic Sunday Explained

Scenic Sunday replaces the previous Double-Time Sunday bonus.

During Scenic Sunday, Trainers can enjoy several Route-focused benefits:

  • More Pokémon will appear while following a Route
  • Incense attracts additional Pokémon while on Routes
  • Reduced Buddy Candy distance while exploring Routes
  • Mateo can be encountered up to three times per day while following Routes

For Trainers still working on Zygarde Cells or Buddy Pokémon, Scenic Sunday could become one of the most valuable days of the week.

Max Monday Explained

Max Monday remains in place during Forever Forward, although Fast-Track Monday has been removed.

The following bonuses will be active:

  • Power Spots refresh more frequently
  • Additional Power Spots appear across the map
  • Max Battles feature rotating Dynamax Pokémon

Max Battles will be available between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. local time.

With Dynamax Pokémon continuing to expand throughout the season, Max Monday looks set to remain a key day for collecting Max Particles and challenging new Max Battle bosses.

Showcase Tuesday Explained

A brand-new perk arrives with Showcase Tuesday.

The main bonus is simple but useful:

  • Trainers can enter up to five PokéStop Showcases

For players who regularly compete for Showcase rewards, this provides extra opportunities to earn Stardust, items, and encounter rewards throughout the season.

Will More Daily Discoveries Be Added?

Niantic has confirmed that Daily Discoveries may change throughout the Forever Forward season.

That means additional themed days, bonus rotations, or entirely new perks could be introduced before the season ends in September.

As a result, Trainers should keep an eye on official announcements as the season progresses.

Are Pokémon GO Daily Discoveries Worth It?

While some bonuses are more valuable than others, Daily Discoveries provide extra rewards simply for playing on certain days.

Scenic Sunday looks particularly strong for Route users and Buddy progression, while Max Monday remains essential for anyone chasing Dynamax Pokémon and Max Battle rewards.

Showcase Tuesday is also a welcome addition for competitive collectors looking to maximise their Showcase entries each week.
