No Man’s Sky Forsaken Update 7.10 arrived on 28 October 2026, bringing eerie mementos to collect, new Forsaken traders, biomechanical corvette parts, a Larva Cannon Multi-Tool and space courier missions. It also adds seamless warping, a cleaner HUD, faster Multi-Tool switching and the game’s debut on iPhone and iPad.

There’s plenty to explore beyond the Halloween theme. Hello Games also fixed problems with corvettes, Living Ships, freighter battles and console performance. Two smaller hotfixes followed on 29 and 30 October, targeting crashes during star-system warps and at the Space Anomaly teleporter. Here’s what changed in each update and where to get started.

No Man’s Sky Forsaken Update 7.10: all the new features

  • Haunting mementos: new salvage items at infested outposts, hulks, derelict freighters and planetary digsites.
  • Forsaken traders: exchange mementos for biomechanical corvette parts, including new cockpits and interiors.
  • Larva Cannon: a living Multi-Tool offered in return for preserved grubs.
  • Larva Tank helmet and Mind Harvester title: rewards connected to the memento-harvesting activity.
  • Space courier contracts: package delivery jobs at deep-space outposts for corvette owners with a Gravitino Coil.
  • Seamless warping, minimal HUD and a mode wheel: faster navigation and less cluttered controls.
  • iOS release: the full game is available on supported iPhones and iPads with a free trial.

Where to find mementos and traders in No Man’s Sky Forsaken

Haunting mementos can be recovered from infested outposts, deep-space hulks, derelict freighters and planetary dig sites. Don’t hang around with them for too long: collecting these disturbing samples can attract boundary horrors. Our memento locations guide covers the best places to look and what to do with your finds.

At a space outpost, you can summon a Forsaken trader and swap mementos for new corvette modules. The selection includes the wide-view Vantage cockpit, Hornet, Viper and Mantis variants, Legion interiors and biomechanical hull pieces. You can mix them into an existing corvette rather than building a completely new ship.

Forsaken traders also offer the living Larva Cannon Multi-Tool in exchange for preserved grubs. Dedicated collectors can earn the Larva Tank helmet and Mind Harvester title. For the separate reward routes, see our Larva Cannon and Larva Tank guide.

No Man’s Sky Forsaken space courier missions and Gravitino Coil requirements

Space courier contracts are available at deep-space outposts. They involve transporting packages between planets, and you’ll need a corvette fitted with a Gravitino Coil to accept them. A regular starship on its own won’t meet that requirement.

Forsaken also improves guidance for collecting materials from asteroid belts and wrecked hulks. You can pin some deep-space materials in the Catalogue, while delivery and salvage contracts now have more varied names. Our courier missions guide explains where to find the jobs and how to prepare your ship.

Seamless warping and minimal HUD in No Man’s Sky Forsaken

One of the most welcome changes in No Man’s Sky Forsaken is seamless warping. You can target a nearby star directly from space and warp to its system without opening the Galaxy Map. A nearby star can also carry your mission icon if that’s where your next objective takes you.

The new Minimal HUD option hides much of the usual on-screen clutter, including extra compass information and mission notifications. A radial selector makes it easier to switch between Multi-Tool weapons and utilities. You’ll also find new creature-battle challengers at Holo-Arenas in deep-space outposts.

No Man’s Sky Forsaken patch notes: quality-of-life improvements

  • Deep-space orbital bases can now be uploaded to the server so other Travellers can visit.
  • Planetary trading outposts have a corvette landing pad.
  • Oxygen Harvesters can be placed anywhere on the planet’s surface rather than only inside a base.
  • The technology research tree, Catalogue icons and Solar System Map descriptions have been improved.
  • Several notification flickers, text clipping problems, ultrawide controls issues and inventory display errors have been fixed.

No Man’s Sky Forsaken update 7.10 bug fixes and performance

The original 7.10 patch fixes a Void Egg issue that could prevent players from finding more Living Ships after completing Starbirth. It also addresses freighter battles appearing in the wrong place, pirate ships failing to spawn and rare inventory transfers that could lose or duplicate part of an item stack.

Corvette owners get several fixes too. Newly built modules should now snap together correctly after saving and reloading in deep space, while cargo and multiplayer issues at the Space Anomaly have been addressed. Hello Games also fixed disappearing deep-space outposts, Solar Ship animation problems and a soft lock caused by interacting with something while Auto Walk was enabled.

On the performance side, No Man’s Sky Forsaken makes the teleporter interface faster and reduces memory use in VR and on Xbox Series consoles. PS4 gets lower texture-memory use and a fix for a suspend-and-resume crash. Older consoles should also reach the game-selection screen faster.

No Man’s Sky Forsaken 7.11 and 7.12: Crash Fixes and Platform Rollout

Hello Games issued two follow-up patches after 7.10. Forsaken 7.11, dated 29 October, fixes a crash when warping to another star system. Forsaken 7.12, dated 30 October, fixes a different crash triggered by the teleporter in the Space Anomaly. These are targeted stability updates, not new features to unlock.

HotfixCrash addressedPlatform release details
7.11, October 29Crashing while warping to another systemLaunched on Steam first; Hello Games’ release log now also lists PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox Game Pass
7.12, October 30Crashing while using the Space Anomaly teleporterLaunched on PS5 first; the release log currently lists PS5, not a confirmed all-platform rollout

The two patches haven’t reached every platform at the same time. Version 7.11 started on Steam, and Hello Games’ updated release log also lists PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox Game Pass. Version 7.12 was released on PS5 first; the release log does not yet confirm the same rollout for every other platform.

If No Man’s Sky Forsaken is still crashing when you warp or use the Anomaly teleporter, check the installed game version and whether that hotfix has reached your platform. A patch being listed for PS5 doesn’t automatically mean it’s also available on PC, Switch or iPhone. Neither patch promises to fix every kind of crash.

No Man’s Sky Forsaken on iPhone and iPad

No Man’s Sky Forsaken also launched on iPhone and iPad on 28 October. Hello Games lists iPhone 11 or newer, along with eligible iPads including iPad mini 6, iPad Air 4, iPad 10 and the 12.9-inch iPad Pro (3rd generation) or later supported models. The App Store description specifies 4 GB of RAM and iOS or iPadOS 26. You can try the opening of the game free, and the download is under 4 GB.

The mobile version includes the major No Man’s Sky updates, rebuilt touch controls and controller support; iPad also supports mouse and keyboard. There are a couple of limits: multiplayer isn’t available on iOS, and Planetary Settlements require an iPhone 15 Pro or later. The UK App Store lists a £19.99 one-time full-game unlock. Hello Games’ current cross-save platform list doesn’t include iPhone or iPad. Our iPhone and iPad guide explains the device requirements and free trial.

Is No Man’s Sky Forsaken update 7.10 free?

Yes. Forsaken 7.10 is a free update if you already own No Man’s Sky on a supported platform. It’s not a separate paid Halloween expansion. If you’re playing through a subscription, our Xbox Game Pass Essential guide explains the available access options.

For a first look at No Man’s Sky Forsaken, start by collecting mementos and visiting a Forsaken trader. If you already own a corvette with a Gravitino Coil, the courier contracts are another good way to explore the new content. For the smaller fixes, check the 7.11 and 7.12 table above against the version currently available on your device.
