PokeBalls at the ready again trainers, as we enter the second week of August. Trainers are in for a treat with Spotlight Hours this month, and next in store, we have the Pokemon Go Nidoran Spotlight Hour.

Entering the limelight, Nidoran (female) is set to cause a stir as it takes the Spotlight for the hour.

Let’s take a look at who Nidoran is, and the details for the second Spotlight Hour in the month of August.

Who is Nidoran?

Nidoran is a Poison-type Pokemon, which makes it weak against both Ground and Psychic moves.

Nidoran has barbs that secrete a powerful poison, developed to provide protection. When enraged, it releases a violent toxin from its horn.

There are currently a total of 3 Pokemon in the Nidoran family in Pokemon Go. Nidoran evolves into Nidorina which costs a total of 25 Candy, which can then be evolved into Nidoqueen, costing a further 100 Candy.

The Pokemon Go Nidoran Spotlight hour is due to take place on August 9, 2022, 6-7 pm local time, giving trainers one hour to take full advantage and catch as many Nidoran as possible.

Unfortunately, there has been no confirmation of an increased spawn rate of Shiny Nidoran at this time, however, trainers will earn double XP when catching Nidoran during the Nidoran Spotlight Hour. And with the increased spawn rate, there is the potential for a 4* to appear too!
