Following the announcement of the Pokemon Go Tour: Hoenn and kicking off Season 9: Mythical Wishes, a raid day inspired by the Hoenn region will be taking place, as players are given access to the Hoenn Mega Raid Day.

The Hoenn Pokedex, which was first featured in Generation III, features a selection of trainers’ favorite Pokemon, including the Mythical Deoxy.

But who will be featured in the Hoenn Mega Raid Day? Let’s take a look below at the all-important details.

Hoenn Mega Raid Day

Commencing Saturday, December 3, at 2:00 PM Local Time, until Saturday, December 3, at 5:00 PM Local Time, the Hoenn Mega Raid Day will be full of features and bonuses.

The Mega Raid Day sees Sceptile, Blaziken, and Swampert’s Mega Evolutions making their debut, with their energy only available for the duration of the Raid Day – make it count!

As with all Mega Raid Days, players will be able to enjoy a range of special bonuses for the duration, including:

  • Receive up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs during the event
  • There will be an increased chance of encountering Shiny Sceptile, Shiny Blaziken, and Shiny Swampert

A range of special moves will be available for the 3 hours:

  • Sceptile caught during this event will know the Charged Attack Frenzy Plant.
  • Blaziken caught during this event will know the Charged Attack Blast Burn.
  • Swampert caught during this event will know the Charged Attack Hydro Cannon.

For US $5, or the local currency equivalent, players can purchase a ticket that includes the following bonuses:

  • Six additional Raid Passes from spinning Gyms (for a daily total of 12)
  • Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL
  • 50% more XP from Raid Battles
  • 2× Stardust from Raid Battles

These paid-for bonuses will be available from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm during the Hoenn Mega Raid Day.
