Lost Ark A Sprouting Seed begins at Journey’s Footsteps near Rendezvous Market Triport in the Cadarum Islands. You must first complete the Cadarum main quest After the Resonance Stops. The Belgardin prologue was introduced with the October Arbiter of Death update and can only be progressed once per roster.
Head to Rendezvous Market in Cadarum Islands, not a Shadow Raid entrance in a major city. The prologue begins at a location interaction; the raid itself uses separate entry menus.
Lost Ark A Sprouting Seed: where to find Journey’s Footsteps

The developer places Journey’s Footsteps near the Rendezvous Market Triport in Cadarum Islands. Use that Triport as your landmark, then look nearby for the named interaction.
A Sprouting Seed introduces Belgardin, Arbiter of Death, as part of the October story content. Journey’s Footsteps starts this prologue; it is not the object used to enter the raid.
How to start the Belgardin prologue
- Finish the Cadarum Islands main quest After the Resonance Stops.
- Travel to Rendezvous Market in the Cadarum Islands.
- Locate the market’s Triport.
- Interact with Journey’s Footsteps close to the Triport.
- Accept A Sprouting Seed and follow the objectives in the quest tracker.
Once you accept the quest, follow the objectives displayed in your quest tracker. The official notes confirm the start location and prerequisite, but don’t publish a step-by-step map of every subsequent objective.
Why isn’t the quest appearing?
Start by checking whether After the Resonance Stops is complete in your Cadarum quest log. It is a required main-story quest before Journey’s Footsteps will offer the Belgardin prologue.
Next check whether someone on the roster has already completed the prologue. The developer says you may progress through it once per roster, not once on every character. An alternate character won’t receive a repeatable copy of the introduction merely by visiting the same Triport.

Does Lost Ark A Sprouting Seed unlock the Belgardin raid?
The prologue introduces Belgardin, but the official raid-entry checklist specifically names After the Resonance Stops and a qualifying item level. Normal requires 1750, Hard 1770 and Nightmare 1780. The regular raid has eight players and two gates.
Use a Shadow Raid entry object in a major city, Party Finder or the Content Guide with Alt + Q to enter. There’s also a Matching Mode available from 1750. Our Belgardin raid guide explains the different entry menus, group sizes and weekly count.
Can you complete Lost Ark A Sprouting Seed on multiple characters?
The quest’s once-per-roster restriction is separate from the equipment system. Your character unlocks a Vambraces slot at item level 1750, and a first Gate 2 clear can award Epic Vambraces. Those are character-bound, unlike the roster-wide prologue. Our Vambraces guide covers how to get and upgrade them.
Players collecting music also have a reason to complete the introduction: the October notes confirm a new Jukebox music source acquired during prologue progression. That reward belongs to the quest itself, rather than to the limited Belgardin Conquest token shop.
What follows the Lost Ark A Sprouting Seed prologue?
The related Belgardin Conquest event runs until 2 December 2026, rewarding clears, flawless runs and achievements. Those missions don’t replace the one-time prologue; they are separate activities once you are ready to raid.
