How to Get Rock Candy in Hello Kitty Island Adventure is tied to Rocky Rail Ride, the new Crystal Caverns-themed minigame introduced with the 2.19 update. Rock Candy is the new material collected during the ride and then spent on the minigame’s prize pool, including Pompompurin and Chococat furniture.
Rocky Rail Ride itself is located in the High Desert area of Gemstone Mountain and is unlocked through the quest The Rocky Road to Dessert. Once it is available, one Game Ticket buys a five-minute session and you can keep playing during that timer.

What Is Rock Candy Used For?
Rock Candy is not just a quest collectible. After learning How to Get Rock Candy in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you can spend it on Rocky Rail Ride prizes. Furniture generally costs 200 Rock Candy, while other listed prizes cost 100 Rock Candy.
The furniture pool includes a long sequence of Pompompurin and Chococat pieces such as armchairs, bookshelves, beds, tables, lamps, a fireplace, cooler, lunchbox and other themed decorations. The second prize slot usually advances through furniture you have not previously obtained.
How Rocky Rail Ride Prizes Work
The prize system makes How to Get Rock Candy in Hello Kitty Island Adventure useful even after you finish the introductory quest. One slot can contain common materials or music discs, another generally serves the Pompompurin/Chococat furniture progression, and another can offer two-heart gifts for friends you have met.
Current community documentation also says Usahana’s Reimagine ability can reroll the prize slots on the sign. Cogimyun’s Magical Girl ability does not work for Rocky Rail Ride, so do not rely on that ability to alter the minigame.
Best Way to Farm Rock Candy
The most efficient approach to How to Get Rock Candy in Hello Kitty Island Adventure is to arrive with several Game Tickets and use each five-minute window fully rather than entering the area for a single short attempt. Check the day’s prizes before spending a large amount of Candy so you know whether you are saving for furniture or a cheaper reward.
- Bring enough Game Tickets for multiple sessions.
- Learn the route before prioritising speed.
- Check the current prize slots first.
- Save 200 Rock Candy when targeting furniture.
- Use 100-Candy purchases selectively if a cheaper prize is actually useful.
The Hello Kitty Island Adventure community wiki documents the current minigame location, unlock quest, ticket cost and prize structure. The official 2.19 update description confirms that Rocky Rail Ride sends Pompompurin and Chococat back into the Crystal Caverns to discover the new ingredient.
