The Hearthstone C’Thun Signature Card is available from October 20 to December 1, 2026 through Eye of the Empire Darkmoon Faire Treasures. If you’re collecting the four Signature Old Gods for the animated Old God Card Back, this is the C’Thun copy you need.
C’Thun also gets a Signature-only prize pool for that whole window. The top reward is a seven-card bundle with C’Thun, Eye of the Empire and six matching Signature support cards from Reign of the Black Empire.
How to get the Hearthstone C’Thun Signature Card

Open Eye of the Empire Darkmoon Faire Treasures while the collection is live. It starts on October 20 and closes on December 1, and Blizzard lists it as the route for the Hearthstone C’Thun Signature Card during the Black Empire launch period.
You get one free pull when the collection opens. If C’Thun isn’t what drops, any further attempts cost Runestones. That gives you a genuine chance to get it for free, but the first pull does not guarantee the card.
What is in the C’Thun Signature Bundle?
Every reward in the C’Thun pool is a Signature card. The grand prize gives you the Hearthstone C’Thun Signature Card plus two copies each of Spawn of C’Thun, Tentacle Lash and Floating Lessons.
| Grand prize bundle card | Quantity |
|---|---|
| C’Thun, Eye of the Empire | 1 Signature copy |
| Spawn of C’Thun | 2 Signature copies |
| Tentacle Lash | 2 Signature copies |
| Floating Lessons | 2 Signature copies |
That is seven Signature cards altogether: one C’Thun and six support cards. If C’Thun itself is what you’re after, this is the bundle you need to hit.
Is the first C’Thun pull free?
Yes. The C’Thun Darkmoon Faire Treasures collection starts with one free pull.
Every attempt after that uses Runestones. If you miss the Hearthstone C’Thun Signature Card on the free pull, open the information panel on the Darkmoon Faire Treasures screen before spending anything; it shows the live odds for the collection you’re actually pulling from.
Does Signature C’Thun count for the Old God Card Back?
Yes. The Hearthstone C’Thun Signature Card counts toward Old Gods Collector: Part 2. You also need Signature Mastermind Yogg-Saron, Signature Y’Shaarj, Titan Bane and Signature N’Zoth, Dream’s End.
Get all four Signature Old Gods and Part 2 awards the animated Old God Card Back. Normal and Golden copies are fine for Part 1, but they won’t fill the Signature requirement for Part 2.
You can start with C’Thun on October 20, but the full four-card set isn’t available immediately. Signature N’Zoth, Dream’s End does not enter its Darkmoon Faire Treasures rotation until November 3, which is the first day all four announced routes have opened.

Which C’Thun versions count for the Collector Feats?
Old Gods Collector: Part 1 accepts Normal, Golden or Signature C’Thun. Complete that Feat with all four Old Gods and you get one Golden Reign of the Black Empire pack.
Old Gods Collector: Part 2 specifically needs Signature copies. For the C’Thun slot, that means Signature C’Thun, Eye of the Empire.
Can you craft Signature C’Thun?
No. Signature cards can’t be crafted with Arcane Dust. During the Black Empire launch window, Eye of the Empire Darkmoon Faire Treasures is the announced way to get the Hearthstone C’Thun Signature Card.
When does Signature C’Thun leave Darkmoon Faire Treasures?
Eye of the Empire Darkmoon Faire Treasures ends on December 1. Blizzard hasn’t announced another route for the Hearthstone C’Thun Signature Card after that collection closes.
Do you need Signature C’Thun to use the card?
No. Signature C’Thun, Eye of the Empire is a premium treatment of the same playable card. The artwork changes, but its stats and card effect stay the same.
If you just want C’Thun for a deck, a regular copy is enough. You only need the Signature version if you want that card treatment or you’re finishing Old Gods Collector: Part 2.
