GTA Online Weekly Update October 8–14 is the second week of Rockstar’s Halloween celebrations, and there are several rewards worth grabbing before the next Thursday rotation. Simply playing earns the Twilight Knife T-Shirt, completing five Payphone Hits brings a GTA$500,000 bonus, and winning two Adversary Modes unlocks the Pink Skull Emissive Mask alongside GTA$100,000. Halloween Survivals are also paying triple GTA$ and RP, so there’s plenty to do beyond collecting costumes.
This week’s GTA Online Weekly Update also brings discounted Agencies, returning Halloween vehicles, an updated casino podium prize and several ways to earn extra cash from regular jobs. Some Halloween bonuses continue for the rest of the month, while the T-Shirt, Payphone Hit reward and Weekly Challenge have an October 14 deadline. Here’s what’s available, what you need to complete and which discounts are actually active.
GTA Online Weekly Update October 8–14: free rewards and challenges
Three of the biggest rewards in the GTA Online Weekly Update are tied to straightforward actions rather than expensive purchases. If you’re short on time, prioritise the limited cosmetics and the Payphone Hits bonus before heading into the longer Halloween activities.
| Reward | How to get it | Deadline |
|---|---|---|
| Twilight Knife T-Shirt | Play GTA Online during the event week | 14 October |
| GTA$500,000 | Complete five Payphone Hits | 14 October |
| Pink Skull Emissive Mask and GTA$100,000 | Win two Adversary Modes | 14 October |
| Additional GTA$2,000,000 | Complete all five October Weekly Challenges | 4 November |
How to get the Twilight Knife T-Shirt for free
Log into GTA Online at any point from Thursday 8 October through Wednesday 14 October to qualify for the Twilight Knife T-Shirt. Rockstar is giving it away as this week’s free Halloween clothing item. You don’t have to win a race or complete a special mission to earn it; playing during the eligible week is the requirement.
If you’re collecting all five weekly Halloween clothing drops, this shirt follows the Cheerleader Massacre 3 T-Shirt from 1–7 October. The next free item will be the Butchery and Other Hobbies T-Shirt for 15–21 October, so the GTA Online Weekly Update window is the one to use for Twilight Knife.
Five Payphone Hits: claim GTA$500,000
The other easy headline bonus in the GTA Online Weekly Update is GTA$500,000 for completing five Payphone Hits by 14 October. Payphone Hits are Franklin’s assassination jobs connected with The Contract content and the Agency business. Once you’ve unlocked them, complete five eligible hits during the weekly period to qualify for the extra cash.
Rockstar’s bonus is paid within 72 hours of completion, so don’t expect the entire GTA$500,000 to appear in your account the moment you finish the fifth job. The bonus is separate from the normal mission payouts. Players who haven’t unlocked Payphone Hits should allow some time for the Agency setup and access requirements before the event deadline.
Win two Adversary Modes for the Pink Skull Emissive Mask
The GTA Online Weekly Update Weekly Challenge asks you to win two Adversary Modes. Completing the challenge awards GTA$100,000 and the Pink Skull Emissive Mask. The wording is important: you need wins, not just participation. Check the Weekly Challenge panel to confirm both victories have registered.
This is the second of five Halloween Weekly Challenges running from 1 October through 4 November. Completing all five earns another GTA$2,000,000, delivered within 72 hours of completion. The first week required two Bail Office Bounties, so players pursuing the full-month prize need to have finished that earlier task as well. Our GTA Online GTA$2 million Weekly Challenge guide covers the full run.
GTA Online Weekly Update: all triple and double payout bonuses
Halloween Survivals remain one of the standout activities in the GTA Online Weekly Update. The Ludendorff Cemetery Survival, Cayo Perico Survival and Alien Survivals all pay 3× GTA$ and RP. They are particularly appealing if you’re in the mood for Halloween content rather than running ordinary jobs, and GTA+ members receive an increased 6× rate for these Survivals.
There’s more than Survival this week. The Halloween Featured Series includes Slasher and Ramius – Slasher with triple payouts, while the San Andreas Super Sport Series and Halloween-themed Community Race Series also have 3× GTA$ and RP. Players who prefer their usual businesses or contact activities can earn doubled payouts on Bail Office targets and Dispatch Work.
| Activity | Bonus |
|---|---|
| Halloween Survivals: Ludendorff, Cayo Perico, Alien | 3× GTA$ and RP; 6× for GTA+ members |
| Slasher and Ramius – Slasher in the Featured Series | 3× GTA$ and RP |
| San Andreas Super Sport Series: Hotring and Random Transform Races | 3× GTA$ and RP |
| Community Race Series | 3× GTA$ and RP |
| Bail Office Standard and Most Wanted targets | 2× GTA$ and RP |
| Dispatch Work | 2× GTA$ and RP |
| The Black Box File (FIB Priority File) | 2× GTA$ and RP |
| UFO Business Battles | 2× GTA$ and RP |
| Jack O’Lantern collectibles | 2× GTA$ and RP |
| Ghosts Exposed | 2× GTA$ |
The GTA Online Weekly Update Halloween bonuses don’t all expire on 14 October. Rockstar’s month-long promotion keeps the broader Halloween activities available through 4 November, whereas the three headline weekly rewards rotate after Wednesday. This leaves room to enjoy Survivals later, even if you’re concentrating on the mask and Payphone Hits now.
GTA Online Weekly Update October 8–14 discounts: Agencies and vehicles
Agency properties are 40% off in the GTA Online Weekly Update, including upgrades and modifications. That makes the sale especially relevant to players who haven’t opened up Franklin’s Agency work yet. Agency locations at Hawick, Little Seoul, Rockford Hills and Vespucci Canals are included. The Payphone Hit bonus and the property discount are separate offers, but they complement each other if you’ve been planning to buy an Agency.
Rockstar’s Halloween car and bike sales also continue. The following vehicles have 40% off:
- LCC Sanctus
- Albany Brigham
- Albany Lurcher
- Albany Fränken Stange
- Declasse Tornado Rat Rod
In addition, these vehicles and equipment are listed with a 30% discount during the GTA Online Weekly Update October 8–14 rotation:
- Annis Remus
- Benefactor Terrorbyte
- BF Club
- Bravado Greenwood
- Dinka Jester RR
- Emperor ETR1
- Grotti Itali GTO
- Karin Hotring Everon
- Pegassi Tempesta
- Übermacht SC1
If you’re saving for a specific car, check the discounted in-game price before buying; trade prices and existing ownership can affect what you see. The Halloween-themed 40% vehicle promotions continue beyond this week’s rotation, while the additional 30% selection is tied to the current week.
GTA Online Weekly Update podium vehicle and Prize Ride
The Annis Savestra is this week’s Diamond Casino Lucky Wheel podium vehicle. Visit the casino and spin the wheel for a chance to win it. There’s no guarantee of landing on the car, so it’s worth treating the spin as a free opportunity rather than planning around an assured reward.
At the LS Car Meet, the Declasse Walton L35 (Lifted) is the Prize Ride. The reported challenge requires a top-four finish in the LS Car Meet Series on two consecutive days. Check the Prize Ride Challenge screen for your active progress and exact in-game requirement before committing to a race session.
For showroom shopping, Luxury Autos displays the Dewbauchee Rapid GT X and Übermacht Sentinel XS4. Premium Deluxe Motorsport has several returning Halloween vehicles on display, including the Albany Brigham, Fränken Stange, Lurcher, Tornado Rat Rod and LCC Sanctus. The GTA Online Weekly Update also rotates its test drives, so you can try a car before spending money on it.
GTA Online Weekly Update Gun Van discounts and rotating robberies
This week the Gun Van lists the Baseball Bat and The Shocker as free, with the Service Carbine 30% off. GTA+ members get 50% off the Up-n-Atomizer, Unholy Hellbringer and Widowmaker. The rest of the listed inventory includes the Precision Rifle, Combat Shotgun, El Strickler, Knife and Pipe Bombs.
The FIB Priority File is The Black Box File, and the Salvage Yard robbery rotation includes the Pfister Growler for The McTony Robbery, Albany Fränken Stange for The Gangbanger Robbery and Willard Eudora for The Podium Robbery. If you’re looking for an alternative to racing or Survival, these are the rotating jobs highlighted in the GTA Online Weekly Update.
What to finish before the GTA Online Weekly Update resets
There’s no shortage of Halloween content, but three things have a clear 14 October deadline: logging in for the Twilight Knife T-Shirt, completing five Payphone Hits for GTA$500,000 and winning two Adversary Modes for the Pink Skull Emissive Mask plus GTA$100,000. Get those done first if you only have a couple of sessions free.
After that, chase the triple payouts in Halloween Survivals or Slasher, use the Agency discount if it’s something you already wanted, and collect Ghosts Exposed photos or Jack O’Lanterns while their bonuses are running. The full October Halloween schedule is covered in our GTA Online Halloween 2026 guide. The GTA Online Weekly Update ends with the next reward rotation after 14 October, so the free clothing and Weekly Challenge rewards will change even though the wider spooky event continues.
