Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 Anvil Rocket Launcher Reveal

The first update of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 is here and it has brought some changes and a new weapon to the game.

Perhaps the biggest change that we’ve seen in Fortnite since it began was the removal of building at the start of Season 2.

The original plan was for no building to only last until today, but because of the very positive feedback that Epic Games has gotten, with many players either playing more or returning to the game, the developers have decided to keep no building in the game with the official Zero Build modes.

Zero Build will be available in all core modes, Solo, Duos, Trios, and Squads. Building will remain in Arena and Team Rumble.

New Anvril Rocket Launcher

In the Fortnite 20.00 hotfix update a brand new Anvil Rocket Launcher was added to the game, designed to be an anti-vehicle weapon capable of taking down the incredibly powerful Titan Tanks.

The Anvil Rocket Launcher locks onto opponents and vehicles and once it does the missile will hit the target.

Players can find the new weapon in Rare Chests, Supply Drops, and in Seven Supply and IO Chests, as well as from Sharks. It is worth noting that the Anvil Rocket Launcher won’t be available in Arena at this time.

Vote for the next weapon

First introduced in Chapter 2 Season 8, this season once again features a voting system, which allows players to vote on which weapon or item they want to come to the game.

The first vote brought the brand new Armored Battle Bus to the game, and now it is time to vote once again.

Before voting begins, players will be able to try out both weapons to decide which to vote for. From April 2nd to 4th, both weapons will be able to be found on the Fortnite map and then from April 4th the voting will begin.
