Alan Wake Remastered released for the Nintendo Switch

Initially released for the Xbox 360 in 2010, Alan Wake quickly became a cult classic and was released for Windows two years later. The video game is often praised for its several qualities, including its visuals, sound, and pacing. The Alan Wake Remastered was released in October of last year with the intention of bringing the game to a newer generation of consoles.

During that time, the remastered version of Alan Wake was released for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

While it was previously announced for the Nintendo Switch in a video released by developer Remedy Entertainment, no release date was specified. Thus, its recent arrival on the popular console came out as a pleasant surprise for expecting fans.

Alan Wake Remastered launched in time for the Spooky Season

The popular action-adventure game Alan Wake Remastered was made available on the Nintendo eShop today, October 20, 2022. To celebrate its launch, it’s currently on sale with a 20% discount. This dropped the game’s actual price from $29.99 to $23.99. You can check it out here.

The video game follows the titular character, a best-selling thriller novelist, as he goes in search of his missing wife. This leads him to Bright Falls, a mysterious fictional town in Washington, where he begins to experience events from the plot in a novel that he can’t even remember writing.

The video game’s structure has been compared to a television series as it is divided into episodes that contain cliffhangers and staggering plot twists.
