Tower of Fantasy: Robarg guide

The first world boss of Tower of Fantasy is Robarg. Defeating the first-world boss is challenging, but it can be less difficult if you know its weakness.
Robarg is located south of Astra. She is the only world boss that is not mobile. Robarg stays at the center of the Tomb of Thorns, a location on Astra Island that is teeming with red flowers with thorny vines. This does not mean it would be easy for any player to take Robarg down.
Since this is a world boss, it is recommended that the Wanderer joins a raid when dealing with Robarg. By overwhelming the enemy, multiple players can gain rewards not just by defeating Robarg, but also the treasure chest you can decrypt after you defeat the world boss.
Robarg has some weaknesses you can exploit to have a bigger chance of surviving the raid.

Robarg weakness and resistance
This world boss is weak against the Flame Resonance. You would likely want to use either the Scythe of the Crow (King) or the Molten Shield V2 (Huma). Check if you can still enhance the matrices of those weapons. You can also switch the matrices with your weapons with the best matrices. This will not affect the matrices, just make sure you put them back after the raid.
The first-world boss is resistant to the Volt Resonance. Make sure not to engage Robarg with any weapons that have Volt Resonance. If you do not have three weapons that have the Flame Resonance, you can switch it with a Physical or Frost Resonance. Using any weapon with Volt Resonance will have its damage cut to 10-25%.
Make sure to check your relics as well. When the ultimate of your weapon is on cooldown, you can swap them instead. If all of their ultimate is on cooldown, you can use your relic instead. This should maximize your damage against it. Make sure to check the Resonance of the relic before engaging the enemy.

Robarg forms and move sets
It has two forms. The first form is when you start the encounter with the world boss. It will look like a flower with vines that can knock back players. In this form, It will use three moves.
The first move is when it spins around a small vicinity around it. You can dodge it by simply staying away from it. The second is the vine whip. Before it does this, a red area will appear, make sure you are not in that area once it appears. The last move is the bullet seed. It will shoot a barrage of bullets. The best way to dodge them is by running sideways against Robarg.
The second form of Robarg is also its final form. It will spawn a mechanoid in the middle of the arena. It can summon bees to fight, so make sure you also have a weapon that can deal AoE damage. The final form can also summon a large vine that can knockback the player upwards. The best way to avoid this is to time the dodge before it appears. When Robarg uses its poison, make sure you use your jetpack to dodge.

Preparation and Rewards
Aside from preparing your weapons and relics, it is also important to check your stats before engaging any world boss. Make sure to use buffs that can increase your damage. Visit Mia’s Kitchen if you still have the chance. You can also use meals that boost your Flame Resonance.
Remember that your weapon resonance also depends on the type of weapons that you equip. Since Robarg has moves that cause the knockback effect to the Wanderer, you can equip weapons that have Fortitude. These are defense weapons like the Molten Shield V2. You can pair that with another defense weapon so your character will have the Fortitude Resonance.
Once you defeat Robarg, it will respawn in the same channel after an hour. Aside from the rewards you get for participating in the raid, you will also be able to decrypt the treasure chest that Robarg is protecting. You can use a Data chip III to decrypt it. You get random weapon upgrades, vehicle parts, and a chance of rare matrices after defeating Robarg.
