Game Freak’s new Pokemon game might look a little confusing, it’s changing the traditional formula a lot, but there are some things that will feel familiar and should help players get stuck into the game without much forethought. We are, of course, talking about Poke Balls. Catching Pokemon is still at the core of the Pokemon experience in Pokemon Legends Arceus and you’ll need a fair few Poke Balls to do that. Here are all the confirmed Poke Balls available in the new Pokemon game…

All Poke Balls available in Pokemon Legends Arceus

At the moment, from official Pokemon Legends Arceus communications and screenshots, we know about the following Poke Balls…

Standard Poke Ball

This Poke Ball is going to be the basic use Poke Ball. You can craft these with 1x Apricorn and 1x Tumblestone.

Heavy Ball

This is a stronger Poke Ball than the standard Poke Ball – however, it will be more likely to succeed the heavier the target Pokemon is. At the moment, we do not have a Crafting Recipe for this item – but, we do know it can be crafted. Check out the image below:

Great Ball

This Poke Ball is going to offer a greater chance of catching Pokemon. It should work with those that might resist a standard Poke Ball. At the moment, we do not have a Crafting Recipe for this item.

Ultra Ball

This is the next stage of Poke Ball – the Ultra Ball should catch tougher Pokemon that will resist lower-level Poke Balls. At the moment, we do not have a Crafting Recipe for this item.
