Is Knockout City free to play at launch?

Velan Studio’s Knockout City is almost here and we’ve got new information about whether it’s going to be free, or not, at launch! It’s good news for some and bad news for others, as you might imagine.
This “DodgeBRAWL” is going to push you to your combat-sport limits in a bright and colorful take on Dodgeball and Team Deathmatches. However, there’s one question on everyone’s lips…
Is Knockout City Going To Be Free?
Knockout City isn’t a free to play title but there is a way you can play it for “free”. PlayStation players, we’re sorry (ish).
If you have EA Play, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Game Pass for PC, or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate you should be able to get Knockout City for free on launch as it is being included with the membership!

You can get EA Play on PlayStation platforms too, so you’re not completely out of the loop if you don’t have an Xbox. However, a lot of Xbox players have Game Pass and not a lot of PlayStation players pay for PS Now. The two services seem miles apart in their value, despite the fact that PS Plus often outshines Games With Gold. It’s unusual, but Knockout City is just another fantastic bonus to having Xbox Game Pass.

Knockout City could be the next big “small” game. It’s coming out on all major platforms on May 21st, features cross-play at launch across the board, and is being put together by Velan Studios. (They worked on Mario Kart Live, too!)
