Halo MCC CE: Where is the Famine Skull in the fourth mission?

The Famine skull of Halo MCC CE can be found on the fourth mission, the Silent Cartographer, and here’s where exactly.

Compared to the other skull in this mission, Bandana, Famine is much easier to obtain, requiring no specific mechanics and simply knowledge of its location.

Where is the Famine skull in MCC Halo CE?

From the start of the level, you can go for the skull right away as you land – but for the sake of doing things a bit faster, clear the beach of Covenant forces first to get a Warthog drop off, as shown below.

Securing it shouldn’t be too difficult on any difficulty for most players, as you start with a full stock of grenades and ammo, as well as with plenty of allied Marines to help out.

When you grab the hog, spin it around to the opposite direction you were facing when you were dropped off – drive straight on through the opposite of the intended path, in other words. You’ll soon come to the rock formation shown here.

Drive to the far side of this rock formation to find a ramp that you can walk straight up – this area is later occupied by enemies when a downed Pelican crashes here so its best to grab the skull right away, as recommended with how we’re doing this.

Once you’re at the top of the rock, just walk across and you’ll find the skull between these three bushes quite easily – walk over it and grab it for the achievement for obtaining the Famine skull in Halo CE.
