Thundering Pulse is a 5-star bow in Genshin Impact. It is part of the Inazuma series of weapons, along with Engulfing Lightning, Kagura’s Verity, and Mistsplitter Reforged.

Where to get ‘Thundering Pulse’
Thundering Pulse can only be obtained via Wish, specifically by pulling from the Epitome Invocation Weapon Event Wish Banner. This catalyst is featured on the said banner from November 2, 2022, to November 18, 2022. After that, there will be no way of acquiring the weapon unless a banner rerun takes place.

‘Thundering Pulse’ Effects
This bow’s passive skill is called Rule By Thunder:
Increases ATK by 20% and grants the might of the Thunder Emblem. At stack levels 1/2/3, the Thunder Emblem increases Normal Attack DMG by 12/24/40%. The character will obtain 1 stack of Thunder Emblem in each of the following scenarios: Normal Attack deals DMG (stack lasts 5s), casting Elemental Skill (stack lasts 10s); Energy is less than 100% (stack disappears when Energy is full). Each stack’s duration is calculated independently.

Recommended Characters
This bow is generally a great option for DPS bow users who need to stay on-field and deal damage using their Normal Attacks.
Thundering Pulse is Yoimiya’s signature weapon and currently her BiS (Best-in-slot). This is because the 5-star Pyro character needs to use her Elemental Skill to convert her Normal Attacks to Pyro DMG and use these attacks against enemies, stacking up the bow’s buff.
Other 5-star characters who can benefit from this bow include Tartaglia, Ganyu, and Tignhari. However, since the 5-star Cryo character Ganyu and the 5-star Dendro character Tighnari are heavily focused on Charged Attacks, note that you will need to do some Normal Attacks with them to activate the bow’s passive skill.
For 4-star characters, on-field Physical DPS Fischl is an incredible choice.
