The first leak of upcoming Genshin Impact character Yelan has appeared in the wild, thanks to @anonsbelle on Twitter.

First leak of upcoming Genshin Impact character Yelan

The last time we mentioned Yelan was a fair while back, when the confirmation of the true elements of Sukunas leak list arrived. Now, however, we have something a bit more solid to work with.

Yelan is noted in the image to be a Hydro Bow user, so Childe may be getting some competition in the future, as well as Hydro finally getting more non-catalyst characters whose name isn’t Ayato or Childe, if we believe this new leak at least.

The leak did come to my attention via the Wangsheng funeral parlor discord server, however, and through the reliable leaks channel no less – making it highly likely a reliable source, as the group takes their reliability quite seriously, and usually gets leaks highlighted accurately.

As mentioned above, this Yelan leak is thanks to @anonsbelle on Twitter, appearing only shortly after well known leaker Dimbreath mentioned that the model for Yelan was present in the beta files.

So what do we know about Yelan now?

Well, not actually that much. If this image is to be believed, and given the source I’d say so, then we know a few things. One, she’s a Hydro character. Two, she’s a bow user. And three, how she looks, of course.

This isn’t a whole lot just yet, but knowing the Genshin Impact community plenty more leaks will soon surface if they have can find any way whatsoever to do so, so we may just have to wait a while for them. With that said, that’s about all we have here, really. But you can always keep an eye out for our Genshin coverage to see more upcoming leaks, codes and other new content, in our dedicated Genshin Impact section, and you can find more general gaming content on our home page.
