Genshin Impact: How to take pictures of Tri-Lakshana Creatures in Activated, Normal, and Scorched states

As the nation of Dendro, it is only expected for Sumeru in Genshin Impact to have thriving rainforests. It is also expected for these rainforests to be the home of interesting species such as the Tri-Lakshana Creatures.
These creatures are called the way they are because they enter different states depending on what element is applied to them. These states include Normal, Activated, and Scorched.
During Snapshots Day II of Genshin Impact‘s Graven Innocence event, you will need to take pictures of these creatures in different states. However, how exactly do you do that?
How to take pictures of Tri-Lakshana Creatures in different states
To take pictures of Tri-Lakshana Creatures, the first thing that you need to do is, of course, look for them. To do this quickly, simply click “Take Pictures” from the Events page, and the game will mark the location for you. Just in case you’re not sure how to do this, follow the steps below:
- Head to the Paimon Menu.
- Click Events.
- Go to Graven Innocence.
- Choose Roaming the Jungle.
- Choose Snapshots Day II.
- Click Take Pictures.

You also need to equip the Exquisite Kamera given to you at the earlier point of the Graven innocence quest. With the gadget in hand, take pictures of the Tri-Lakshana Creatures including the Bouncy Mushroom, Poison Mushroom, and Dendro Pile.

NORMAL STATE
Taking a picture of Tri-Lakshana Creatures in their Normal State is pretty easy. When you spot one, it’s usually in this state. Just use your equipped Exquisite Camera and focus the lens on it. If the Tri-Lakshana Creature is not in the Normal State, hit it with Dendro Attack first.
ACTIVATED STATE
To take a picture of Tri-Lakshana Creatures in their Activated State, you need to hit the creatures in their Normal State with an Electro attack. Once you activate one, quickly take a picture of it because it will sometimes go back to its Normal State.
SCORCHED STATE
As the name of this state suggests, you need to hit the Tri-Lakshana Creatures in a Normal State with a Pyro attack. Again, take a picture quickly before the creature goes back to its Normal State.
Take note that the Dendro Pile marked on your map is in its Scorched State. To revert this to its Normal State, hit it with a Dendro Attack.
After taking pictures of a particular Tri-Lakshana Creature in different states, go back to “Take Pictures” for the game to mark the next area for you until all of the pictures are taken.
Snapshots Day 2: Tri-Lakshana Creatures Rewards

The Whimsical Draft can be used as a limited-time currency at the Graven Innocence Event Shop. Specifically, it can be used to buy Carving Components for the Metamorphosis of Wood event.
