Genshin Impact Pine Wood, how and where to get it

The new Genshin Impact update has added a player housing system – and you’ll need plenty of Pine wood if you plan to build everything.

Luckily for you, we’ve got all the information you’ll need, allowing you to find and collect plenty of Pine wood to develop your own home realm as much as you wish.

Where to find Pine Wood in Genshin Impact

As you may expect, Pine wood may be gathered from Pine trees in Genshin Impact, so you’ll need to locate some Pine Trees.

Pine wood can be found dotted all over the Dragonspine mountain, so a quick round trip between some of the teleport points of Dragonspine will net you plenty of Pine wood.

If Dragonspine doesn’t do it for you, Wuwang hill is also an option for gathering Pine wood.

How to gather Pine Wood

Gathering Pine wood from the trees is about as simple as you’d expect it to be – hit the trees.

It should be noted that you’ll want to use swords or greatswords for this. Polearms auto attacks are at best ill-suited for this due to the nature of their attacks, and bows or catalysts don’t really register hits on the trees, meaning they produce no wood.

Ideally, you’d want to be using a greatsword, because the wide swings will make it impossible to miss a tree if you’re only partially paying attention to your gathering.

Plus you won’t need to expend any stamina using a charged attack for multiple hits due to their natural attack patterns being well suited for this. With that said, a normal sword works quite well for short-term gathering regardless.

With all of that said, there’s really not much else to gathering up Pine wood in Genshin Impact. Find the Pine tree, hit the Pine tree, let the Pine wood drop into your inventory, and bam. You’re done. Once you get enough of it, anyway.
