Genshin Impact Bamboo Segment, how and where to get them

The new Genshin Impact update has added a player housing system – and you’ll need plenty of Bamboo Segment items if you plan to build everything.

Luckily for you, we’ve got all the information you’ll need, allowing you to find and collect plenty of Bamboo Segments to develop your own home realm as much as you wish.

Where to find Bamboo segment items in Genshin Impact

Bamboo segment items may be gathered from Bamboo trees in Genshin Impact as you may have guessed, so you’ll need to locate some Bamboo.

One of the best areas you’ll find for this happens to be next to the teleport point east of Qingce village. Simply teleport there and follow the road south, and you’ll find a pathway that is littered with fully grown Bamboo.

There are likely other areas that are also suitable, but if you just want to get a lot of Bamboo segment items in one go, this is probably a great way to do that.

How to gather Bamboo Segments

Gathering Bamboo Segments from the Bamboo is about as simple as you’d expect it to be – hit the Bamboo.

It should be noted that you’ll want to use swords or greatswords for this. Polearms auto attacks are at best ill-suited for this due to the nature of their attacks, and bows or catalysts don’t really register hits on the trees, meaning they produce no wood.

Ideally, you’d want to use a greatsword for this, because the wide swings will make it impossible to miss a tree if you’re only partially paying attention to your gathering.

Plus you won’t need to expend any stamina using a charged attack for multiple hits due to their natural attack patterns being well suited for this. With that said, a normal sword works quite well for short-term gathering regardless.

With all of that said, there’s really not much else to gathering up Bamboo segment items in Genshin Impact. Find the Bamboo, hit the Bamboo, let the bamboo drop into your inventory, and bam. You’re done. Once you get enough of it, anyway.
