Genshin Impact leak reveals part of Sumeru Region

Even before the release of Genshin Impact’s latest version and the addition of the newest area called The Chasm, leaks about an upcoming region have already surfaced online.
The upcoming region is called the Sumeru region which, according to leaks, is expected to arrive in the next major update.
But now, it’s no longer all talk as a credible leaker shared a video with a small part of the upcoming region’s early model.

In a video posted on Reddit, Genshin Impact leaker Lumie (@lumie_lumie) showed Ganyu gliding and running around a huge tree which looked like the focal location of the Sumeru region. Moreover, the tree was placed next to the city of Mondstadt giving fans an idea of its immense size. With a tree that huge, it can be surmised that it would have a couple of teleport waypoints and probably the region’s own Statue of The Seven.
As each nation in Genshin Impact has its own representative element, it is rumored that Sumeru will have one, too.
Mondstadt is Anemo. Liyue is Geo. Inazuma is Electro. And Sumeru is most likely represented by the Dendro element.
If this is the case, the release of the Sumeru region will be very exciting for fans as Dendro is currently the only one out of seven elements in Genshin Impact that is not assigned to any playable character. Should HoYoverse release playable characters who have the Dendro Vision, the meta will surely be shaken up. With new elemental reactions, strategies and character lineups will definitely have to change.

Considering this element, two NPCs will surely come to fans’ minds. It can be recalled that Baizhu, the owner of Bubu Pharmacy in Liyue Harbor, and Yaoyao, Xiangling’s junior apprentice, have Dendro vision. Now the question is: Will they finally be available as playable characters?
Moreover, along with the release of the Sumeru region is Sumeru’s Archon Kusanali, whose alleged appearance was shown in many previous leaks.
