Genshin Impact: How to Activate the Mechanism (The Heavenly Stone’s Debris Quest)

Part of the world quest chain called The Chasm Delvers, the quest The Heavenly Stone’s Debris requires you to activate “the mechanism” in The Chasm. 

Activating the mechanism sounds like a piece of cake, but when you go to the mechanisms, you’ll find purple slime-looking stuff around. These are called the Oozing Concretions, and at this point, you probably don’t know how to remove them. So much for a piece of cake, huh? 

But, really, completing the quest will just be a piece of cake if you continue reading the guide we have prepared for you.

How to Activate the Mechanism 

This part of the quest is located in the Stony Halls, which is south of the main mining area in The Chasm, and the three mechanisms are marked on the map below.

But then again, how do you remove the Oozing Concretions?

To remove these, you simply have to use your Lumenstone Adjuvant. 

Note: The Lumenstone Adjuvant must be at least Level 2 and needs to be refilled with energy from the nearby blue orbs. To upgrade the gadget, talk to Jinwu. The required materials are Lumenspar x8 and Lumenstone Ore x1.

First Mechanism: Activating this is pretty easy. With the Level 2 (at least) Lumenstone Adjuvant, remove the Oozing Concretion and interact with the mechanism to activate it. 

Second Mechanism: The same can be done to the second one. However, you have to defeat the enemies that appear before you can activate the mechanism. 

Third mechanism: The same thing can be done here. Enemies will also appear after removing the Oozing Concretion. 

After activating the last mechanism, there will be a cutscene which means that you have successfully completed this part of the quest. That’s how simple it is.
