Genshin Impact: Kaveh’s face revealed in new leaks

Kaveh is one of those characters in Genshin Impact whom fans first learned about through other characters’ voice lines. He is an architect known for The Palace of Alcazarzaray. However, just like Kamisato Ayato and Shikanoin Heizou before their release, Kaveh’s face and overall appearance have been a mystery for quite some time.
Based on a few leaked descriptions, several fanart images about his presumed character design were also shared online, with the Kaveh fan art by @waternaeng catching the attention of many fans. This was also the same artist who predicted how Kamisato Ayato looked like before he was officially revealed.
Recently, however, supposed in-game images of Kaveh reveal how the upcoming character actually looks like, to the delight of expecting fans.
Leaked images reveal Kaveh’s face
The leaked images showing Kaveh’s face were posted on the Genshin Impact Leaks Subreddit. While its source is unknown, it is reportedly posted by Plusle.

In one image, Kaveh can be seen from his waist up, with his left hand on his waist. As previously leaked, he has blond hair. His eye shape is also similar to Dainsleif’s, as previously seen in the fanart by @newstarbegin.
Another image was captioned “HD Kaveh” as it shows a more close-up view of Kaveh’s face in-game.
Seeing Kaveh’s face, some fans quipped that he looked like the male version of Lumine, the female Traveler, and the grownup version of Aether, the male Traveler. Others called him the blond Zhongli, while some compared him with characters outside the game, such as Howl from Studio Ghibli’s Howl’s Moving Castle.

An earlier leak from Ubatcha mentioned that Kaveh would make his first appearance in Version 3.2. However, it is still unlikely that he will be playable anytime soon as he has not been announced to be in the upcoming 3.2 banners. This is similar to how Mika made his first appearance during the Weinlesefest in Genshin Impact Version 3.1 without any leaked information about his playability.
As for Kaveh’s kit, the post on the said subreddit says he is likely to be a 4-star Dendro character who uses the claymore.
Genshin Impact is an action role-playing game developed by miHoyo, also known as HoYoverse. The game is available for PC, PS4, PS5, iOS, and Android, while a release on Nintendo Switch is currently in the works.
