Kaveh is one of the most mysterious characters in Genshin Impact at the moment. He is mysterious not because he’s presumably involved in some top-secret activity. Instead, he’s mysterious because a couple of things have already been said about him, including how he became roommates with Alhaitham, without actually making an appearance in the game yet.

As of writing, his existence in the game is primarily made known by word of mouth. For instance, Collei and Tighnari both have something to say about Kaveh. On the other hand, some bulletin boards hint about him. In a way, he’s similar to how players first heard about characters including Arataki Itto, Ayato, Kuki Shinobu, and Shikanoin Heizou.

This led to fans creating several Kaveh fan art and questioning when Kaveh will show up in the game. While HoYoverse has not answered this question yet, a known leaker has recently shared information about the character’s first appearance.

Leaker reveals when Kaveh will show up in Genshin Impact

In a tweet, Ubatcha mentioned that Kaveh would make his first appearance in Version 3.2, saying:

“Last thing for a while now, Kaveh will show up during 3.2”

However, the leaker advised fans not to expect to see the character’s in-game model during the 3.2 beta. With this, the leaker brought up how Mika, for example, is expected to make his first appearance in Version 3.1 without necessarily being shown in the beta for the said patch.

“Don’t expect his model to be in beta – Just as Mika, Scara’s boss or Dottore wasn’t in 3.1 Beta but he will show up during the patch.”

Ubatcha ended the tweet by telling fans that while Kaveh will show up in Version 3.2, his release as a playable character is currently not known, including the character’s weapon and kit.

“I don’t know when he’ll be playable or his weapon etc so wait for that info later”

With this, it can be said that fans might finally be able to meet Kaveh officially in-game on November 2, 2022 (at the earliest) as an NPC. While this is just a leak and should be taken with a grain of salt, it will definitely be great if Kaveh will show up by then.
