Genshin Impact has daily repeatable content known as commissions, but are they worth doing, or should you skip them?

Is it worth doing daily commissions in Genshin Impact?

Daily commissions are a set of four tasks you’ll be given on a daily basis in Genshin impact; you’ll gain access to these at early levels, so you can try them out pretty early on.

By and large, they tend to be simple 1-minute or less long tasks that have some small but nice rewards, though some are more complex and feed into short series that connect together to form a story of their own.

So, is it worth going out of your way to make sure you keep doing the commissions on a daily basis in Genshin Impact, is it worth it, in other words?

The simple answer here is that daily commissions are the easiest source of Primogems in the game that is reliable. You can get 10 Primogems per commission, every day, no matter if you did them the day before or not. If you complete all four of them, you can even claim an extra reward bundle at the adventurer’s guild buildings with Katherine, meaning that they’re a source of up to 60 Primogems per day for low effort.

While 60 Primogems won’t get you a wish, it is almost half of one for a few minutes work. And given that full-length quests in Genshin Impact typically only award around 60 at the end themselves, it’s likely worth it to put up with daily commissions – even if you only get that really annoying slime balloon.

In short, unless you’re rich and buying wishes by the hundred directly, the amount of Primogems you get relative to the very low time investment needed means you should try to get your daily commissions completed each time they are available in Genshin Impact.
