Genshin Impact: How to Set the Region for Daily Commissions

If you don’t have much time in a day but want to make progress in Genshin Impact, the best thing you would want to prioritize doing is to complete Daily Commissions.
In this guide, we will talk about Daily Commissions, rewards, how to unlock them, and how you can set the region where you can take them.
What are Daily Commissions?
Daily Commissions are a set of 4 quests that Travelers can complete every day to get Primogems and other rewards. These quests are only available within the server’s day and will eventually expire.
What are the Rewards?
Aside from Primogems, Daily Commissions also give the following rewards:
- Mora
- Adventure EXP
- Friendship EXP
- Mystic Enhancement Ores
If there are any additional rewards, they will be given depending on the quest.
Moreover, completing all 4 quests and reporting back to Katheryne from the Adventurer’s Guild will make you earn Character Ascension Materials and 500 Adventure EXP on top of the Adventure EXP you already earned from the separate quests.
You will also start getting Story Keys after reaching Adventure Rank 26. These can be used to unlock Characters’ Story Quests which will acquaint you with the different characters in Genshin Impact.

How Can I Unlock Daily Commissions?
These quests will only become available if:
- Your Adventure Rank is at least 12.
- You have completed the world quest Every Day a New Adventure.
How Can I Set the Region for Daily Commissions?
At first, you can only accept Daily Commissions in Mondstadt. You can accept more from different regions only if:
- You have already visited the region.
- You have completed Prologue Act II: For a Tomorrow Without Tears for Liyue, Chapter II Act I: The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia for Inazuma, and Chapter II: Act I – The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings for Sumeru.
Now, going back to the question: How can you set the region where you will be taking commissions?

You can select a region for your commissions based on your preference by following the steps below:
- Access the Adventurer Handbook from the Paimon Menu.
- Choose Commissions on the left side of the handbook.
- Choose the region from the upper portion of the handbook.
Choosing the region can be helpful if you’re still trying to explore more of that specific region or if there are specific commissions that you need to take.
