The desert subregion of Sumeru has finally been released in Genshin Impact Version 3.1. With this update comes new and mysterious ruins and domains to explore in a vast ocean of searing sands. The Garden of Endless Pillars (Desert Vivarium) domain is one of these. However, how do you unlock this one-time domain?

If you have been exploring the area around the Garden of Endless Pillars, you should have noticed that it is surrounded with a few Pyro Elemental Monuments or Totems. While lighting them all up is the most apparent key to unlocking the domain, you will have to do so following a certain order.

How to solve the Pyro Monument Puzzle and unlock the Garden of Endless Pillars domain

The Garden of Endless Pillars domain is located west of the Dune of Carouses. For your reference, check out the map below.

In this area, there are hidden walls that might block your way toward the totems. Simply walk alongside these walls until you find your way, then light them up in the correct order.

There are a total of five (5) Pyro Totems that you need to activate. Below is an image showing the correct order for lighting these totems up (hit them with a Pyro attack). Note that in this image, you are facing west. Moreover, the totems in this image have already been lit up, and the entrance has been unlocked.

Once the Pyro Elemental Monuments or Totems are activated in the correct order, you should see a short cutscene, showing that the domain’s entrance has been unlocked. You will also be rewarded with an Exquisite Chest. Now, you can enter and challenge the Garden of Endless Pillars (Desert Vivarium) domain.
