Free Fire Sharingan Control is the new mechanic that turns Nine Tails into a player-directed battlefield threat during OB55. It appears during Battle Royale matches in the returning Naruto Shippuden event, and the player who captures it can choose a target area for a Tailed Beast Bomb rather than waiting for Nine Tails to act randomly.
The skill is easy to misunderstand because Garena describes it as briefly commanding Nine Tails. Free Fire Sharingan Control does not give you ordinary movement controls for the creature. Instead, it creates a map-targeted attack with a warning period, explosive damage and lingering fire zones.
How Free Fire Sharingan Control works
Free Fire Sharingan Control appears on the map during the middle of a match. Capture the objective, select a target location and confirm the strike. Players inside the chosen area receive a five-second danger warning before Nine Tails fires the Tailed Beast Bomb.
The main explosion deals 60 explosive damage within a 100 metre radius. That radius is large enough to pressure a whole fight location, but the visible warning gives alert opponents a chance to move before the attack lands.
Free Fire Sharingan Control flame damage
The explosion is followed by eight to ten randomly placed flame spots. Each covers a four metre radius and remains for five to ten seconds. Players standing inside take five damage every 0.5 seconds, creating much more sustained pressure than the initial 60-damage hit alone.
There is also a short burn after leaving a flame spot. Affected players take one damage per second for two seconds after stepping out. The numbers make Free Fire Sharingan Control a useful disruption tool even when the bomb does not catch someone squarely in the centre.
When to use the Nine Tails attack
Use the attack where movement is predictable. Revival Points, loot fights, buildings with limited exits and squads already committed to another engagement are better targets than an open field where everyone can simply sprint away during the warning.
The lingering fire also lets you divide a group. One enemy may escape one direction while another is pushed around a different flame patch, making the aftermath of the strike as important as the explosion itself.
Sharingan Control vs the random Nine Tails event
At match start, Nine Tails can still create one of several random events: attack the plane, open Arsenals on Bermuda or leave a loot crater. Those are automatic match modifiers. Free Fire Sharingan Control is different because it appears later and gives a player the power to choose a strike area.
Knowing the distinction helps when the event begins with a Nine Tails animation. Seeing the creature at the start does not mean you have already missed the controllable mechanic. Keep watching the map during the match for the Sharingan objective itself.
Sharingan Control damage and warning timings
Free Fire Sharingan Control gives opponents a warning before the attack lands, which is why the published numbers matter. Garena lists a five-second danger period before the Tailed Beast Bomb hits. The central explosion deals 60 damage across a 100-metre area, then the attack creates multiple flame spots that continue to punish anyone trying to remain in the zone.
Those flames are not just visual effects. The OB55 notes describe between eight and ten flame areas, each lasting roughly five to ten seconds and dealing repeated damage to players standing inside them, followed by a brief residual burn. The result is a large area-denial tool rather than a single instant blast, so positioning the strike around a contested objective is usually more useful than aiming at an empty patch of ground.
Free Fire Sharingan Control is strongest when you plan around both the five-second warning and the flames that remain after the main explosion.
