Free Fire Skorp: How to Get It, Stats and Best Uses

Free Fire Skorp

Free Fire Skorp is live from October 1 as the new OB55 submachine gun, pairing a high fire rate with armor penetration and the same controllable recoil idea introduced on the M7. Garena positions it as an aggressive weapon that remains useful against armored opponents later in a match rather than falling off as soon as better vests appear.

There are also unusually generous ways to obtain Free Fire Skorp. In Battle Royale it appears as ground loot and on Weapon Racks, becomes the default weapon after a Super Revival, and is listed for early-October Vending Machines at only 100 FF Coins with no purchase limit. In Clash Squad it costs 1,500 CS Cash.

In Battle Royale, Free Fire Skorp can be found as ordinary ground loot and on Weapon Racks. The Super Revival route is especially notable because Garena says revived players return with the Skorp as their default weapon, giving the gun a guaranteed role in that system instead of relying entirely on random loot.

  • Battle Royale ground loot.
  • Weapon Racks in Battle Royale.
  • Default weapon after a Super Revival.
  • Early-October Vending Machines for 100 FF Coins with no purchase limit.
  • Clash Squad Store for 1,500 CS Cash.

For repeated practice, the low Vending Machine price makes Free Fire Skorp easy to test when that early-October stock is active. In Clash Squad, 1,500 CS Cash also gives you a predictable purchase path without having to wait for a favourable Battle Royale drop.

Garena does not publish a full set of numerical damage and range values for Free Fire Skorp in the OB55 patch notes. The reliable public information is the 30-round capacity, high rate of fire, armor penetration and upward recoil behaviour. Those traits already explain why the weapon is aimed at close-to-mid-range pressure instead of long-range tap firing.

Best Uses for Free Fire Skorp

Free Fire Skorp is strongest when you can stay close enough for its fire rate to overwhelm an opponent while the armor penetration keeps shots relevant against upgraded protection. It suits pushes through buildings, short outdoor rotations and fights where you expect the enemy to be moving quickly rather than holding a distant angle.

OB55 also changes how SMG accuracy behaves. Garena says firing while standing reduces accuracy, while crouching provides maximum accuracy. That makes crouched suppression or holding a tight angle a useful way to stabilise Free Fire Skorp when you are not actively sprinting into a fight.

How to Control Free Fire Skorp Recoil

The recoil system on the Skorp is described as similar to the Free Fire M7, so sustained fire pulls the aim upward in a learnable pattern. At very close range you can often correct during the spray, but at the edge of the SMG’s comfortable distance you will get better results by actively pulling down instead of relying on raw fire rate.

Because the Skorp fires quickly, missed bullets disappear from a 30-round magazine fast. Use the high fire rate to finish exposed opponents, but stop and reset the aim if the reticle climbs beyond the target. The weapon rewards aggression, not holding the trigger after the fight has already moved off your sightline.

Free Fire Skorp Compared with M7, RPK and Hawk

the Skorp is the most natural close-range choice among the October weapons. The M7 is an assault rifle designed for mid-to-long-range control, the Free Fire RPK is a 75-round LMG for sustained fire, and the Free Fire Hawk is a two-shot sniper with much higher burst potential.

That separation makes the Skorp easy to understand when choosing a loadout. Pick it when mobility, fire rate and armor penetration matter more than reach. If your squad already has close-range pressure covered, one of the longer-range October guns may give the team more useful balance.

Why Free Fire Skorp Arrived on October 1

Garena announced the Skorp in Free Fire OB55 but held all four new weapons until the next Clash Squad season on October 1. The staged release is now over, so players should no longer treat the Skorp as an unreleased patch-note item.

OB55 is still running alongside the Naruto collaboration. The Click also has guides for 8 Trigrams Palm Rotation, Ninja Academy, controlling Nine Tails and the Hinata and Jiraiya reward rules if you are moving between the weapon update and the event content.
