Free Fire RPK: How to Get It, Stats and Best Uses

Free Fire RPK

Free Fire RPK is now live as the OB55 light machine gun, combining a large magazine with the new recoil system introduced in the October 1 weapon rollout. Garena describes it as a fully automatic LMG that keeps machine-gun firepower while offering assault-rifle-like mobility, making it less cumbersome than players may expect from the class.

The biggest confirmed number attached to Free Fire RPK is its 75-round magazine. In Battle Royale the RPK appears as ground loot and on Weapon Racks, while Clash Squad sells it for 1,500 CS Cash. Unlike the M7, Skorp and Hawk, Garena does not list an early-October Vending Machine price for the RPK in the OB55 source adjustments.

You can find Free Fire RPK through normal Battle Royale looting or by checking Weapon Racks. Those are the confirmed BR sources in the OB55 notes. If you want a predictable purchase instead, Clash Squad places the RPK in the store for 1,500 CS Cash from the October 1 season change.

  • Battle Royale ground loot.
  • Weapon Racks in Battle Royale.
  • Clash Squad Store for 1,500 CS Cash.
  • No specific early-October Vending Machine price is listed for the RPK in the official OB55 source adjustments.

That last point matters because the other three new weapons do receive Vending Machine entries. Do not assume Free Fire RPK costs 400 or 100 FF Coins simply because the M7, Hawk and Skorp do. Garena lists the RPK separately as ground loot and Weapon Rack loot.

The official weapon directory currently presents Free Fire RPK with a 75-round capacity and highlights recoil plus accuracy. Garena has not provided a complete public numeric damage, range and reload table for the new gun, so this guide sticks to confirmed values rather than filling the gaps with community estimates.

Best Uses for Free Fire RPK

Free Fire RPK is built for sustained pressure. A 75-round magazine lets you keep firing through longer peeks, cover a teammate’s push or punish opponents who repeatedly reappear from the same angle. That capacity is the clearest advantage over the 30-round M7 and Skorp when a fight lasts longer than one short exchange.

Garena also says good recoil control lets Free Fire RPK stay accurate against targets at longer ranges, while the weapon remains versatile in close combat. In practice, that means you should not treat it as a stationary-only machine gun. Use the mobility to reposition, then lean on the large magazine once you have a useful lane.

How to Control Free Fire RPK Recoil

Like the Free Fire M7 and Free Fire Skorp, the RPK uses the new recoil system rather than being described only through ordinary bullet spread. The aim climbs during sustained firing, so pulling down smoothly is more important than making frantic corrections after the first half of the magazine has already missed.

The 75-round capacity gives you more time to correct than the smaller weapons, but it can also encourage bad habits. Do not assume a huge magazine means every fight should be one continuous spray. Reset between distant targets so the recoil pattern starts from a controlled point again.

Free Fire RPK Compared with the Other October Weapons

the RPK is the sustained-fire option. The M7 is better suited to controlled mid-to-long-range rifle work, Skorp is the fast close-range SMG, and the Free Fire Hawk is a precision sniper that carries only two rounds. The RPK sits between those extremes by offering reach, mobility and far more ammunition before a reload.

If your squad already has a sniper and a close-range player, the RPK is useful for filling the middle role and keeping enemies pinned during rotations. In Clash Squad, the 1,500 CS Cash cost also matches the Skorp, so the decision can be based on the range you expect to fight rather than price alone.

Why Free Fire RPK Is Live Now

the RPK was part of the original Free Fire OB55 announcement but was held until October 1 with the new Clash Squad season. The delay was intentional, not a bug or regional rollout issue. The October phase is now active, so the RPK belongs in the live weapon pool.

If you are still completing the Naruto side of OB55, related guides cover the Hinata or Jiraiya reward, Sharingan Control, 8 Trigrams Palm Rotation and the Ninja Academy buff.
