The Fortnite Reload v43.00 loot pool has had a proper shake-up. The November 1 update adds six items, unvaults weapons across several categories and removes 14 older options. Gold Bars are gone too, so items from Vending Machines and Pocket-O-Matics are now free.

Wondering why your usual shotgun has disappeared, or where Zoro’s swords came from? Here’s what changed, using Epic’s Reload-specific patch notes. This isn’t the same loot pool as Treasure Hunters Battle Royale.

What changed in the Fortnite Reload v43.00 loot pool?

The Fortnite Reload v43.00 loot pool adds Zoro’s Three Sword Style, Usopp’s Slingshot and new guns such as the Bundlebuss Repeater Rifle. Several familiar assault rifles and shotguns are playable again, while others have been vaulted. Surf City also returns to the map rotation.

All new Reload v43.00 weapons and items

New itemHow it works
Zoro’s Three Sword StyleUse three katanas to attack at close range and dash toward opponents.
Usopp’s SlingshotDraw back and fire heavy rounds at targets from range.
Bundlebuss Repeater RifleA fully automatic rifle designed for rapid fire at medium range.
Gilded Dragoon ShotgunA single-fire shotgun that trades magazine capacity for heavy damage.
Explosive Cannon BallA throwable explosive available in non-Competitive play only.
Nami’s TangerineRestores health and shields and provides a movement boost in water.

There’s one important exception in the Fortnite Reload v43.00 loot pool: Epic says the Explosive Cannon Ball is for non-Competitive play. Don’t rely on finding it in a Competitive match.

Every vaulted Reload v43.00 weapon and item

Epic lists these 14 items as vaulted in the Fortnite Reload v43.00 loot pool:

  • Shield Keg
  • Slap Juice
  • Slapperoni Pizza
  • Morphite Spire Rifle
  • Nemesis Assault Rifle
  • Tactical Pistol
  • Monarch Pistol
  • Thunder Burst SMG
  • Morphite Tactical Shotgun
  • Morphite Havoc Shotgun

  • Grapple Glove

That’s a substantial change for anyone who relied on the Grapple Glove, Slap Juice or Morphite Tactical Shotgun. Check the returning utility items above before settling on a new loadout. Vaulted means out of this update’s rotation, not necessarily gone forever.

Why are Gold Bars gone from Fortnite Reload?

Epic removed Gold Bars from Reload in v43.00. Instead of paying for Vending Machine and Pocket-O-Matic items, you can collect them for free. This is a Reload-specific change; Treasure Hunters Battle Royale has its own rules.

You no longer need to save up Bars before visiting one of those spots. The Fortnite Reload v43.00 loot pool still depends on what each machine or Pocket-O-Matic offers, though; you can’t choose absolutely any weapon.

What Reload maps are in rotation now?

Surf City is back alongside Nitemare Island and Squid Grounds. On November 12, 2026, Nitemare Island is scheduled to leave and Springfield is due to return. As of November 5, that Springfield change is still upcoming.

The Hunt match modifier is also back at its normal activation rate until Nitemare Island rotates out. That’s a map modifier change, rather than another weapon being added or removed.

Reload v43.00 bug fixes

  • The Hunt’s assigned Marks should now display correctly.
  • The Pocket Item slot is restored for older custom HUD layouts affected by the bug.
  • The early “Top 10% Survivor” message in Ranked Reload has been fixed.
  • Top Placement and Top Elimination bonuses should display correctly on Nitemare Island and Squid Grounds.

These fixes are worth knowing about if your Hunt target wasn’t showing or a custom HUD left you without the Pocket Item slot. For weapons and consumables, the lists above cover Epic’s announced Fortnite Reload v43.00 loot pool changes.
