Fortnite Digital Vibrance is adjusted through NVIDIA’s graphics driver on a compatible Windows PC, not through a separate Fortnite setting. NVIDIA Control Panel includes a Digital Vibrance slider under Display > Adjust desktop color settings. Increasing it makes desktop colours appear richer and more saturated, including the Fortnite picture shown on that display.
It won’t make your graphics card faster or provide a guaranteed advantage when spotting players. If you’ve seen a streamer with unusually bright colours, they might be using this slider, an in-game colour-blindness filter, a monitor preset, or some combination. You can adjust your own image without copying an arbitrary percentage.
Where to find NVIDIA Digital Vibrance
Right-click the Windows desktop and open NVIDIA Control Panel. Under Display select Adjust desktop color settings, choose the monitor you actually play Fortnite on and locate the Digital Vibrance slider. Move it gradually, then apply the change. NVIDIA documents that exact menu path. If the Display section doesn’t appear, the screen may not be connected to an NVIDIA GPU or you may be on unsupported hardware.
How to choose a comfortable saturation level
Start with your current value and increase Fortnite Digital Vibrance a little at a time, checking foliage, sky, player outfits and health-bar colours after each change. A high saturation value can look dramatic but also crush subtle colour differences. Record the original position so you can return to it; one player’s 70% setting does not necessarily produce the same result on your panel.

The NVIDIA option alters colour intensity at the driver/display level. Fortnite has its own colour-blindness modes in Settings > Video > Graphics, which serve a different accessibility purpose. If you need to distinguish certain colours better, experiment with the game-side mode first. Fortnite Digital Vibrance is not equivalent to Deuteranope, Protanope or Tritanope, and using two heavy colour filters can make things worse.
Why it affects the desktop too
NVIDIA calls this a desktop colour setting, and it can change the appearance of applications besides Fortnite. That may be inconvenient if you edit photos or do design work on the same monitor. A monitor’s own colour presets are another separate stage of the display pipeline. Keep those differences in mind if the game looks bright but your recorded footage or shared screenshot looks normal on somebody else’s computer.
Fortnite Digital Vibrance: can PS5 or Xbox players use it?
NVIDIA Control Panel is a Windows graphics-driver application, so there is no Fortnite Digital Vibrance slider in the PS5 or Xbox game menus. Console players can adjust their TV or monitor colour settings and use Fortnite’s accessibility options, but they can’t run an NVIDIA Control Panel utility directly on the console. Follow the hardware-specific display instructions instead of downloading untrusted tools.
Why the NVIDIA display controls might be missing
Some laptops route their internal display through integrated graphics, so NVIDIA Control Panel may show 3D settings but not the full Display menu. External monitors can have different wiring. Check the graphics system reported by Windows and the manufacturer’s supported display management tool. Don’t install a replacement control panel from a random download page; driver and device architecture determine what NVIDIA exposes.
What to do if everything looks over-saturated
Return Fortnite Digital Vibrance toward its original position, then check any colour-blindness filter and monitor HDR or gaming mode. Make one change at a time and compare normal gameplay in the same environment. NVIDIA also provides gamma, contrast and brightness controls, but adjusting all of them together makes it difficult to identify why colours have shifted.
