Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 map captures last resort, eclipsed estate and kado thorne at the start of the season. Chapter 4 Season 4, Last Resort, made Kado Thorne’s lavish properties the new targets. The map gained large high-security estates designed around infiltrating vaults and securing valuable loot rather than simply searching a residential street.

The original island image below comes from Fortnite update v26.00. It shows the layout when the season began, rather than combining later map patches into a single illustration. The comparison boxes further down let you see how much the terrain changed from the previous season.

Which Chapter 4 Season 4 locations were new?

Eclipsed Estate, Sanguine Suites and Relentless Retreat were the season’s headline locations. Each used an imposing building layout, with guarded areas, corridors and the sort of vaults that made heists a central part of the season’s theme.

These properties stood out from the jungle, medieval towns and Mega City that were already on the island. Their layouts offered a clear reason for landing there: valuable loot and challenging fights inside fortified buildings.

Season 3’s major transformation was the jungle. Season 4 kept the island’s mixed geography but inserted luxurious properties across it, concentrating activity at these new named places.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 map: Why this version stands out

Kado Thorne’s compounds were the defining additions on the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 map. Their large estates offered a different kind of landing choice from Mega City’s streets or the forested jungle. Eclipsed Estate, Sanguine Suites and Relentless Retreat also created new routes around fortified rooms and valuable loot.

The contrast with the previous WILDS map is particularly clear in the built-up parts of the island. Players still had access to the jungle and older towns, but the season’s new estates brought concentrated interior fights to locations where vaults and guarded rooms mattered.

What happened after this version of the map?

Chapter 4’s four numbered seasons ended before the game returned to the Chapter 1 island for Fortnite OG. The original Chapter 4 map history is therefore separate from that nostalgic return.

The season-opening version above is a historical reference, not a claim that the island stopped changing after the first patch. Fortnite frequently altered individual locations during the season. You may see differences in gameplay from later updates even when the map is labelled with the same season number.
