Dungeon Lootr Best Classes: Update 3 Class Tier List

Dungeon Lootr Best Classes

Dungeon Lootr Best Classes changed again with Update 3 because five Expedition classes now sit beside the older summon, quest, raid and event options. Devourer, Fallen Magi, Petal Captain and Sound Hashira all have enough damage, safety or utility to compete at S tier, while Shrine Fox lands in A because its setup is more fragile.

This update keeps the existing ranking URL rather than creating a second tier-list page. The ranking focuses on current PvE value, including Expeditions, boss pressure, defensive uptime, mobility and how much setup each class needs.

Dungeon Lootr Best Classes: Update 3 shortlist

Tier Class Reason
S Devourer 75 ATK, +30 INT, sustain, iFrames, x45 storm and Ultimate
S Fallen Magi 78 ATK, +32 INT, freeze, debuffs, iFrame burst and Ultimate
S Petal Captain Bulk, Parry reset loop, persistent scaling and x30 room control
S Sound Hashira 350 HP, +28 STR, protected skills, mobility and Ultimate
A Shrine Fox Excellent Totem and Shrine ceiling, but 230 HP and setup dependence

The four S-tier additions join an already crowded top end rather than replacing every older meta class.

strongest Update 3 caster

Devourer and Fallen Magi are both elite Magic options. Devourer is the cleaner all-rounder because Predator heals and Gluttonous Storm combines huge protected damage with scaling.

Fallen Magi has the better control-debuff chain through Black Rukh, Ice Shock and Fallen Star, which makes it especially valuable when the whole party can exploit increased damage taken.

strongest Update 3 physical class

Sound Hashira is the simplest high-confidence physical recommendation. It has 350 HP, +10 VIT, +28 STR and protected damage on top of strong mobility.

Petal Captain can rival it when the player consistently lands Blossom Guard Parries because a successful Parry resets Flash Blossom and removes four seconds from its own cooldown.

Shrine Fox placement

Shrine Fox stays in A rather than S because the class wants good Totem placement and Shrine uptime while carrying only 230 HP and +2 VIT.

The ceiling is still excellent. Spirit Step, Foxfire Volley, Ninefold Blaze and Shrine of Tails create a real combo engine rather than four disconnected spells.

Dungeon Lootr Best Classes: older S-tier competition

Update 3 does not make classes such as Anti Magic, Cursed King, Dreadlord, Fae, Moon Witch, Necromancer, Sinister Trigger, Spell Breaker or Unrestricted suddenly bad.

The real change is that the Expedition shop now offers several non-spin Exotic classes whose kits are immediately competitive with that older top end.

Dungeon Lootr Best Classes: classes for Expeditions

Expeditions reward the same things that matter in the overall tier list, but survival gets heavier weight because of the one shared team revive.

Dungeon Lootr Best Classes: what changed with Update 3

The biggest meta shift is not simply five more Exotic labels. Four of the classes arrive with protected damage, meaningful scaling and enough utility to work in both rooms and bosses.

Because all five are farmable through Expeditions, top-tier class progression is also less dependent on Class Summon RNG than it was before.

Dungeon Lootr Best Classes: why Update 3 pushed the top tier upward

The new Expedition classes arrive with much larger skill multipliers and more defensive coverage than many older mid-tier classes. Devourer and Fallen Magi can protect themselves through major casts, while Sound Hashira and Petal Captain combine offense with Parry or Dodge tools.

That does not mean lower-rarity classes are unusable. The gap matters most in long PvE, where cooldown efficiency, defensive frames and crowd control are repeated across dozens of rooms instead of one short encounter.

What this tier list is not measuring

The ranking is not a collection-value list and does not reward rarity by itself. A class moves up when its real kit clears rooms, survives bosses and keeps meaningful uptime without demanding a perfect setup every few seconds.

Player comfort still matters. A mechanically simpler A-tier class can outperform an S-tier class in the hands of someone who cannot consistently land its Parry, setup or debuff sequence.
